Or C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer. Double-click the iexplore.exe file, wait until it opens, right-click on the IE icon on the taskbar and select Pin to Taskbar. It will remain there for every time you need it.
IMO, until Microsoft complete the Edge development, unpin that from your taskbar and don't use.
Sure but not everyone is a computer literate "expert" so I like to post stuff which most people can make sense of and use .

Just to be clear, any regular install of Windows 10 should have BOTH browsers installed and available -- Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge.
Both are installed but the IE browser is usually hidden in Windows Accessories.
It is also possible to access IE via edge where it hides in the "more" (triple bar icon) drop down menu.

You say a non B VISA is still valid even if the WP is cancelled or expired?
Are you sure about this?
As I understands it, a B Visa cannot exist without a valid WP.
You are mistaken.
A valid visa is not cancelled and can be used until it expires.

Has Vientiane placed any kind of stamp in your passport ?

If you don't know of any fithman I somehow don't think that you've been going to immigration offices for very long or you've been very lucky, given the laws here if you think I'm going to give details on a public forum you must think me very naive....
You must be right because I have only been here for a little over 12 years.

Some countries will allow you to extend the validity of your passport at their embassy. Don't know what country you are from, but maybe worth to look into..
AFAIK America was the last who did that. Now not possible

I am sure it will help, I had no idea that IE app was buried in "Windows Accessories" folder. Microsoft will never stop teasing us.
Please do not believe I am an "expert" because I am not !
The IE info was given to me by a friend who is an IT specialist.

If you have been admitted with a thirty day visa exemption or with a 60 day Tourist visa it is very unlikely that Khon Kaen immigration would refuse a 30 day extension of stay.
If you have been using many visa exempt entries (they are not visas) I am not surprised if immigration are now telling you to get a proper Tourist visa (SETV)

Thanks for the info. After clicking on "All applications" then "Windows accessories" it is there. I wonder if it is there by default or it has to be downloaded. I am not sure but I thought I had to download it.
There by default !
Hope it helps.

I always was successful in the past doing my 90 days reporting online with W7, W8.1 then W10.
After upgrading to W10 from W8.1 I knew I had to have IE to do the reporting online. I could not download IE browser for W10 but only "Internet Explorer Desktop App". The easy way to do that is to go to "Search" (Cortana) by clicking on the small magnifying glass in the task bar and type "Internet Explorer". You can then download this application by just clicking on it in the search results.
As a reminder, when doing your reporting online and have problems just fill up the fields with a little red star only, it might work then.
Internet Explorer is hidden within and can be accessed from Edge the default Win 10 browser
If you want to load IE without Edge it is a simple matter of going to the start menu, scrolling down to "Windows Accessories" opening (click on) the folder and the clicking on IE which you will see !

Yes I am and I am using using the right browser So now what
OK!
If you are certain that you are using the correct browser, are filling all the detail on the form correctly and are within the reporting time-frame there is not much more you can do.
For a few the system does not work for various reasons including when the last entry was made, acquiring a new passport etc.

in my view being that if online 90 day reporting worked properly it would cut into immigration officers scams too much and they don't want that...
An interesting conspiracy theory !
Do tell about these alleged "scams" which are facilitated by a 90 report.

You will need a Thai lawyer to assist you with an appeal. The process may prove to be expensive with no guarantee of a positive outcome.

I have windows 7 and just get the message to contact my local immigration I am in Bangkok
I dont get it I am doing the right thing here Maybe you have the answer
Which browser are are you using Internet Explorer or something else ?
Are you sure you are attempting to make the report during the permitted time window of 14-7 days prior to the 90 day report being due ?

Immigration will usually only provide an extension during the last two weeks of your initial 30 day stay

Does the marriage certificate have to be legalised?
Thanks.
Probably if registering the marriage at an Amphur but not to obtain a multiple entry visa.

The default browser in Win 10 is Edge. IE is buried with Edge and has to be deliberately opened once you have the first page of the immigration website loaded. (Click on the triple bar at the top right of the screen)
Alternatively IE can be opened directly without loading Edge . You need to look in Windows Accessories to find it. (In the start menu)
Everything you describe suggests that you have failed to actually open the 90 day report site in IE.
Hope this helps

They were extra helpful too. Is what I'm told correct?
Yes. The easiest place to obtain the "O" visa would be Vientiane,Laos or Penang, Malaysia.
Presumably you are here with a tourist visa or visa exempt entry which is why there is a two step process. The first step being to "convert" the current entry to an "O" visa entry.
You will be applying for an "extension of stay" toward the end of the 90 day entry the "O" visa provides. Nothing is "converted"

Hi.
I have 2 questions please:
1. I want to apply for the METV, but I can only get a print out of my bank statement WITHOUT an official stamp from the bank, because it's an online bank only, they don't have branches. The print out shows the required funds for the last 6 months, and I have a fax header from my bank stating that I hold an account with them, but I can't get an official bank stamp. Will this be accepted by the visa office?
2. I have my self-employment self-assessment form for 2015, but not for 2016 because I haven't submitted it yet. Will this be acceptable to the visa office?
Thank you for the help.
For definitive answers you should ask the Thai Embassy in the place you intend to apply.

A company which can arrange transportation for him between Pattaya and either Vientiane or Penang for a single-entry non-O visa on the grounds of being aged 50 or above perhaps??
Your guess is as good as anybodies unless the OP returns and clearly explains what is wanted/needed !

Does the entry before date on the METV mean the first entry before date? This is what i thought it was, 3 months from when visa was issued. Girl who does visa runs seems convinced it means visa expiry date ( which should be 6 months not 3 months).
The enter before date is also the expiry date.
The visa is valid from the day of issue not the date of first use.

Your visa requires you to leave the country every 90 days. Returning will provide another 90 day stay.
You also have the option of applying for a 60 day extension or a 12 month extension based on marriage (this would require you have 400K Bht in a Thai bank or evidence of income of 40K bht /month certified by your Embassy)
