Hello my wife who I love to death has what we have been told is alopecia areata. Shes had it for awhile but its gotten much much worse in the recent year or so. Shes talked to a couple dermas and been to a hair clinic. Shes had some panel test done on hormones thyroid etc, tried overpriced PRP, and is taking consistent minoxodil for over a year. The hair clinic took seems to be a waste of cash and I feel like the derms we talked to arent the right ones. For example I know for a fact in the West cortisone shots are commonly given on the spots as current treatment(I know it doesnt always work its just commonly used as early) yet shes never once been offered it but they love offered the PRP or hair transplants type stuff. Any suggestions on some good derms,doctors,or clinics that really know female hair and are legit?

Yeah I had one of those volunteer visas during covid and was pretty concerned flying in. I seen reports of some getting bothered coming in but nothing was said to me. Also have alot of 6month-1year stays with going home in between for 6months or so. I wouldnt say my travel history is perfect. I really need to switch to the marriage visa as I'm basically married besides by law.

I used to read stories of tons of people having problems coming into DM. Its like my worse nightmare to have a immigration problem. Thanks for the reply!

I'm currently on a METV and still will be when I fly in. I've been here for 2months after being home for 9months. I was going to do a short trip out to Cambo and fly back in. The tickets are quite a bit cheaper through DM but I'm curious what the current status of flying in there is. The unwritten rule years back was dont fly into DM unless you want to risk a IO giving you a hard time. Was hoping that may of changes post covid world.
