Car is from late 08. But I do not see anything wrong with the seats, honestly. Specially the rear ones, have not been used at all! They were clean even before the “Leather Care” service…. The front ones were slightly dirty but came out just fine.

I paid ~3,000 THB for leather care + carpet care + headline care.

This I can’t answer, as I am not an expert on car washes and I don’t even know what it means myself. But perhaps @JAS21 can better answer your question since he is also the one that recommended their services to me in the first place!

Thank you. Maybe they are good but still clearly overpriced in my opinion. It's what they pay for Porsche or Ferrari at some places.

    thanks again.

  2. Sorry but is the car very old ? why do leather seats look so ugly ?

I guess that a good car detailing would clean them and restore them to almost brand new, if what I see on Youtube is correct.

how much did you pay ?

    no price list

And do you think that they know what is a clay bar / paint decontamination ?

Never found any place where the proposed the service.

Well, just got my car back today and to be honest Thomson was a mixed experience.

I had a light vibration in the rear drive shaft and that they did fix, but they recommended also changing the wishbone after I had left, so the bill added up beyond what was first agreed.

I have a strange fault on the AC, basically it works fine if the cabin is cold, but the AC struggle if I have parked in the sun.

At first they said they could 100% fix it, but at the end I got the feeling they also still don't know what the fault it. At the end they didn't charge anything for the AC and it is still faulty , so fair enough, but it would be nice to get it fixed.

Thank you for report. What I do not like is that they are not even able to print an English receipt. It's so stupid when talking about technical parts / fix.

maybe because they are doing their job correctly ? have you checked anywhere else before, and can you post photos of the part that was changed ? did they give you the old part to confirm that it was changed ?

maybe they where thinking that the problem was gaz leak ? What else could it be ? anyway better not charge you for anything than charge for something not needed as most idiot Somchais would have done ?

Did they confirm that your gaz level is correct ?

    thanks again.

  4. They should sell one with a good engine as the mini, around 200 HP and a Turbo would be enough.

This car is even nicer than the ugly new mini that people might buy only because they have no taste.

By the way, what is the smallest powerful car that we can find here ?

I do not call a car powerful if it hasn't at least 200 HP.

I have two VPN : a pay one and the Opera free one.

I have used the pay one to watch géo restricted French and Belgian state TV docus.

I don't use them any more but keep paying for the pay one out of habit.

    Now my questions are :

@ can the target website possibly know my real country location and see that I cheat by using a VPN?

@ can the target website know my PC Internet ID and eventually locate me by checking with my ISP?

@ does my PC ID  changes every time I log in with the VPN?

Just curious. Not intending any e-crime! (maybe an occasional géo restricted!).

I already looked these questions on Google but didn't find what I wanted ...

    Which paid one ?

and replies to your questions are

    no

    no

Well after now having tasted Harrys Sourdough and O Delicious  French Bakery  Jomtien.......I would say O Delicious  is a far superior Sourdough.........That's a shame too because Harry's  is much closer to where I live.....

Real Sourdough bread is not just for taste but Its way better for your health than other breads........So I guess I will be doing my bread shopping in Jomtien.......

Can you tell me how to say that a sourdough bread is better than another one ? thank you.

Not Easy. Large classes, extremely noisy and unruly students. Administration will put absurd demands like attending weekend camps, etc. The plus side is you are largely left alone in the classroom, up to you how you handle your lessons. Can bew rewarding because some of the students are real gems and touch you, but in general....you'll be wiped out at the end of every day, most classrooms are not air conditioned, so be prepared to sweat in dress shirt and tie.

You said EFL but I assume you mean ESL ?

and what if someone fuxx the rules and just does as he wants, not doing the $hit paperwork and attending the idiot meetings ?

My friends often ask me whether I drive my father in law's car :cheesy:

For me, if I wanted something sportier such as the star on the front grill, I'll then get a BMW. The reason why I choose Mercedes over pretty much any other brand is precisely their "Classic, Business" look. And the star on the bonnet a must for me. Sad to see they are slowly taking it away, before even the C-Class had it, now not even the E-Class :whistling:

In China the girls say that Mercedes with the star on the front grill belong to 'playboys', definitely not what I want others to think about me 55555

Edit: Thankfully here in Asia they don't tend to be stolen... I had a friend back in Europe, who superglued bits of glass to his star ornament in the bonnet (after having had it stolen 2 times). One day after work found it stained with blood, and not too long thereafter the police came to his house looking for him. They tried to steal his bonnet star and he ended up paying a fine, unbelievable.

yes playboy fits me well ???? And anyway I do not think that there is any AMG with the star on the bonnet ?

But I feel like vomit when you compare benz and bmw...

I would prefer a 20 years old Benz rather than a brand new BMW. They are cars for Russian if you know what I mean...

So the title of the post is pretty clear in itself, right? This post is meant for those which bash Thais all day for not wearing helmets while riding their bikes, for not respecting traffic regulations, for driving like cocks. And specially for those farang which are such amazing drivers, that they would easily beat Lewis Hamilton at a F1 Track driving a Renault Twingo.....

Picture taken today near Rama 9 in Bangkok. Helmetless farang, riding his bike, passed me on the LEFT through a very narrow space, and when a pedestrian suddenly attempted to cross the road, he swerved right and was inches away from falling into my car.....

Needless to say, the only accident or rather incident which I've personally had after many kilometers of driving in Thailand, was when I was completely stopped at a red light, and a drunk farang rear ended me with his bike. Luckily I had no more than a few dents in my bumper which his insurance took care of anyway.....

But my point still stands, if you wanna be Thai bashers because of how they drive or because they don't wear helmets then you must set a good example yourself.

How easy it is to rant all day about drivers in Thailand, road deaths, how good it was back at home.... And then you ride your bike helmetless while driving like a <deleted>.

But again after all, as it happens with face masks. Asian people tend to be much more compliant than us Western people. And from what I see the same happens with Traffic regulations, we only comply with them back home because otherwise our monthly salary would be gone just by paying traffic fines isnt it?. But as it seems many when they come to Thailand they forget about the traffic rules (only when they drive, tho), because they very well remember them while lecturing others....

    RANT OVER.

Don't you think that Benz are nicer with the star on the front grill ?
