  1. It would be cancelled. He would need a re-entry permit to leave the country during the under consideration period that would expire on the report back date. So he wouldn't be able to use the re-entry permit and would be stamped in as a Tourist under the visa exempt scheme (assuming he qualifies).

If it happened, and he arrived back only a few days after the report back date, it might be worth going to the immigration office to see if they could do anything, but they almost certainly won't play ball. He would then need to apply for a new non 'O' and apply for the extension again.
    Thank you [emoji106]

  2. Don't worry Big Joke is trying to abolish 90 day reporting.
Actually is the tm30 report that is more annoying than the 90 days report, especially in provinces like Phuket where they're implementing it at its worst. 90 days notification can be done online in few minutes.

As I wrote before that is no longer possible. You could go to Chaeng Wattana immigration and ask them for the latest requirements for applying based upon marriage and you will find that the list shows it can only be your income from working here.

Until they redid the website last year there was a list of required documents for marriage dated 1999 that states if has to be your income.

Thanks for your precious help @ubonjoe

  4. Thank you, may I ask you if you kindly have the exact list of paperwork required for my specific case:

3.3 Qualification of applicant for humanitarian reasons in each circumstance:
3.3.1 Spouse: To provide patronage or to be under patronage of a Thai national
    spouse
    1) The patronage provider works in Thailand,
    (1) Be a lawful spouse and had registered their marriage for at least
2 years before the date of application submission, and do have
their biological child together in any case of infertility, medical
certifying letter issued by the hospital is required. In any case of
infertility without a certification letter, their marriage registration
must have been made at least 5 years before the date of
    application submission and
    (2) One party or both parties must earn much enough to provide
patronage or having annual income of at least Baht 30,000 per
month in average, for at least 2 consecutive years before the
date of application submission and evidence of tax return is
    required and
    (3) There is a Thai national who reveal one’s purpose to provide
patronage or to be under patronage of the applicant.

    Thanks

Yes report within 24 hrs or if on a weekend the following working day requiring a TM 30 to be filled out (search Forum)

You will be reporting to the Immi Police (should be located at Immi Office ) not actually to immi where you no doubt do everything else = This may be why they never worried as it may be on a different computer system OR as Joe replied whilst I was writing this

actually even the form is different for phuket... thanks for your help

Phuket has been wanting a report after leaving and re-entering the country.

There is no way for there to be a 14k baht fine for not doing the report. That is utter nonsense. The max fine for an individual is 2000 baht.

wow... it sounded so odd to me, I guess at this stage it's better if I report next month when I'll leave and re-enter after one week... what do you think?

  7. Good morning all,

I'm a long time resident granted with a year extension based on marriage and, as everybody else, I've notified my address to the immigration office years ago providing a rental contract etc. when they enforced the dormant law. Yesterday an acquaintance of mine, told me that, according to what an immigration officer told him, I should report my address, even if it is the same, every time I leave and return to Thailand or I can face a 14k baht fine. Since I reported the first time, I left the country several times and nobody ever told me nothing about it, even when I renewed my year extensions or applied for re-entry permits. Can anyone please clarify this confusing aspect of this law?
    Thanks
