  1. thank you for the additional information. hope that by then I can use my company income (with work permit of course) as financial prove to get a one year extension of stay. right know the company is to young and no social security had been paid. that's the reason I just need the single entry for now. anyway, if anything goes sideways I will use the 60 day extension to get all ducks in a row.
  2. thank you very much. that was the information I was hoping for.
  3. as many reported and their website is stating you'll need to show 400k in your bank account when Appling for multiple entry visa non o based on marriage. it was also said it does not to be seasoned. however, I'd like to know if they issue single entry non o based on marriage without financial prove.
  4. thank you very much. did you apply for a multiple entry or single entry? did you had to show any money at the immigration at the border?
  5. I am planning to visit the consulate in Savannakhet to get a Non-o visa based on Thai spouse. I understand that they don't issue multiple entry visas without prove of 400k. But they still issue single entry visas without financial prove, if I got it right. Would appreciate if somebody can confirm this. Also, I read somewhere that a bank statement showing a minimum balance of 20k THB over the last three months would be necessary. In the past at some borders they ask to see 10k THB for singles and 20k THB for families in cash or the equivalent in foreign currency. Can somebody confirm if cash or bank statement is required when entering Thailand? Thank you very much in advance for your consideration
  6. TIT Guess I have to get over it and get the company to provide the required documents. Thank you very much confirming I did not got it wrong.
  7. That's what I thought. But the IO said that the stamp in my password says "Marriage and working". Therefore I he told my wife I need to bring the company papers.
  8. Just got back from immigration in Phuket. Have been educated that if I have a work permit on this visa/extension I am required to provide the company paper etc pp. and can't choose any other option to prove my financial status. I was actually planning of using the 400k method this year. Until now I thought that I could bring either: prove of income of +40k per month from overseas or 400K in Thai bank account or +40k income from working in Thailand or a combination of the three above Anybody know if it was always like this or when did it change?
