To be honest it surprises me that there are not more killed. In bangkok it is common to see children ,obviously too young to have a licence, two or three up , no helmets , speeding in and out of traffic. Never have I seen a cop policing this.

Why would I do this. I get my 12 month spouse visa every year in Australia. No money needed in the bank, no repeat photos of where I live in Bangkok, takes two minutes and passport returned in two days. 

Democrat hypocrites. The U.S. Has been meddling, interfering, influencing overseas country elections forever. When there is a sniff that maybe there was some overseas influence in their elections they are up in arms. Stones / glass houses. You get the picture. 

Regardless of religion. If they have commuted the crime then deport them.

Wow you Trump haters will stop at nothing . I have never seen in America such vitriol from one side because they lost. He will not be impeached. As someone has already said he will be there unless some idiot kills him. He is draining the swamp and the swamp is fighting back . Get used to him go 8 years. The changes are already happening and the old establishment don't like it.

Swampy is not great but it is certainly not in the worst 10. Immigration is a pain in the arse but it always has been. Insufficient landing docks as mentioned already planes pulling up out on the tarmac and long bus trips. Parking is not too expensive, however car parking is a shambles ( same as any car parks in Bangkok). 

Try Melbourne airport. Parking $30 per hour. Pick up is a nightmare. Customs queues a mile long.

Take him the first four years to start to drain the swamp. Never have I seen the ond fighting back so hard because they can see their soft , relaxed cosy lifestyle is being challenged. Yep. My wife has her licence for life. Issued a long time ago. Never has to even update photo.

Glad to see extradition between Laos and Thailand is quick and easy. Not a drawn out legal battle as in the western countries.

I realise the problem and it needs to be stopped. However some planning by those in authority could also help. Sat Huay Khwang MRT there is a now boarded up area for some construction work where the motorbikes used to park. It is now motorbike chaos. And yet there is an area that is taped off by plastic tape that could easily accomodate the overflow . This area has been taped off forever. There is no apparent reason and couldmore than help accomodate the overflow. There is a simple thing called problem analysis but that is never applied. So where are the excess motorbikes being parked??? Anywhere they can find a space. Honestly it is not hard to improve the problem if only someone had some common sense. Oh sorry .

License ??? When I bought our car I had to provide all sorts of documents. Work permit , signed letter from the embaasy of address in Thailand etc etc . Same when I bought my motorbike. Simple solution bought them both in my wife's name. Only document needed was her ID card. License ??? Not needed !!! There in lies the problem. 

All those tourists coming to Thailand for the beaches. Pity the local Thais don't look after their main tourist attraction instead of making them look like a rubbish dump. 

The army is no worse than any of the previous governments over the last 10 years. At least the streets are not blocked off by demonstrators, the airport is open and no more barricades and violence on the streets.

Let's take a look at the problems. 

1. Anyone can buy a motorbike without having a license.

2. Underage youths 3 or 4 up riding at speed in the sois and recklessly .

3. Everyone speeds , passes on the underside, ignores red lights.

4. Helmets ? Enough said. 

5. Drink drivers. 

6. No law enforcement. 

And thats  just for starters. But hey blame the manufacturers. That is surely the main problem !!!! 

Me too. I am out for 3 weeks. Let the backpacker , druggists take over for a week. I am outa here.

Word of advice. NOT only Phuket. 

Australia gives 600 million dollars a year to Indonesia. For what. A country that has a military force 4 times larger than Australia certainly don't need any aid. Here they could solve the problem in one year by diverting the money to where it can be used for a humane cause. 

When was that photo taken of the beach. I was there 4 weeks ago and the water looked liked poo and the beach was a tip. 

To be a little sarcastic he is lucky his social security would cover it even if it takes a month. From Australia you get nothing . You can work all your life and have Medicare coverage only in Australia. Unlike some countries which cover their citizens Australia give you nothing.

From reading the article Trump is not saying he will deport them all to Mexico. However if they have entered the U.S. Illegally from Mexico , regardless of nationality, he will return them to the country from which they entered illegally. So all he is doing is returning them to a country that allowed them entry. Seems fair to me. Then let that country deal with their immigration issues.
