I use a Dell XPS ultrabook but it is rather expensive £1,300.
Have a look at Chromebook they're pretty handy.
Both have excellent battery life. Heat is the enemy of computers and batteries especially. Keep it cool and don't leave it plugged in all the time.

Most Toyota key fobs use a CR 2032 3V battery.
in UK you can get a pack of 8 in IKEA for £1.00 so I would change the battery regularly at this price.

You can set up a standing order from, in my case Bangkok Bank, but they only allow 12 payments.
So this doesn't work for you.

Totally confused.
What is this list saying? BKK to London (LHR)??
Never!
It also seems to list useless codeshares.
LOT hasn't flown Bangkok since ages (could be codeshare with LH).
Turkish, no international flights since months. Just restarting domestic today,I suggest to go through this thread:
Bangkok to London threads seem to grow like mushrooms.
Not confusing at all.
BKK to LHR
If an airline posted a price they will fly the route, maybe around the world but not always.
The aggregator I use is Kayak which is part of Booking Holdings (booking.com)
LOT did not quote so as you suggested they do not fly that route.

Yes, certainly you need insurance if yo uwill be living here. At your age there is abundant choice.
You do not need to get a health insurance "from Thailand" i.e. a Thai compnay to be insured in Thailand and it is usually better not to. There are many solid international companies that issue policies specifically for expatriates. It is best to work through a broker as they can provide comparison charts and also help afterwards wioth any claims. You:ll want to make sure motorcycle accidents are covered
I use AA Brokers, www.aainure.net and have been very happy with the, they specializer in expat policies.
www.aainsure.net is the website.
Incorrect link in post.

I agree with earlier posts that the restaurant is not at fault for the rules.
Having said that I think Thailand has done a good job seeing as I am stuck in the United Kingdom with deaths approaching 40000.

UK can get whatever they want already through 5 eyes and GCHQ etc..having an app on your phone that is actually beneficial to not only yourself but the whole country seems a good idea, it's worked in Australia. I take it you don't have Facebook, Line, WhatsApp, any shopping apps or even a mobile or land line or email address if you are that worried about MI5 spying on you...
I believe there are different types of apps. One that records your bluetooth signature and MAC address. If you come into contact with a contagious person, the app can notify you directly from their mobile.
Or there is one like in the UK that has a central database and everything goes back to that before it is is sent out to the people have been close to a contagious person.
I prefer the former.
They do need to do something in the UK because people are not listening and the government is sending out too many mixed messages

And does it drop down to the previous level on his return to Thailand?

I flew back to UK 2 weeks ago on EVA.
they fly the aircraft VOID of passengers from Taipei to Bangkok, 2 hour layover and pick up at BKK for the Heathrow leg.
Seats B E F and J are blocked. You cannot change your seat after takeoff.
The food was lower standard than usual due to different suppliers.
Trolley Dolleys were PPE up to the eyeballs and give you about 10 minutes to eat ????
I thank them for continuing to fly, as my airline has cancelled my flight 4 times

Last week I booked a test drive on the Honda.co.th official website. A Honda Jazz for the wife. I arrived 10 minutes early (stupid farrang) they knew I was arriving and offered me a Honda Accord to test drive!?!? <deleted>!!!
I complained on their website and had someone phoning me flapping the next day.
I use Google Chrome with auto translate.

If you need to call landlines use Skype for mobile phones. Auto top up when balance is low. It has been invaluable trying to sort out flights etc. In the pandemic. Pennies not pounds per minute.

I always change my cash in the basement of Suvamabhumi next to airport link then into my Bangkok Bank account. Was better when green Superrich was there but still close to mid bank rates

I agree, Skype for mobile with auto top up. I was stuck in Thailand after my Etihad flight was cancelled 4 times and Skype was awesome.
