Our last service was around 4k from Ford.
Sent from my R2D2 droid using my C3P0 manservant
Typical ford rip off, my Vigo is normally under 2000 and is my Pajero the same

A common trait in all Clubs, and in Thai Visa. I remember the Mini 7 Club back when i was 17, all Cannabis and Minis with Stripes n Bean Can Exhaust.
Really??? I was the competition secretary of The Mini Se7en club and you clearly were not a member as nothing like you describe.

And what does "well" maintained involve...?
Topping up regularly with proper distilled water, and keeping the terminals free of corrosion, surely an expert as you think you are should know this, and none of the bonnet up crap
-
Never had less than 5 years , in fact my tractor lasted 7 years and none of this lift bonnet crap. just well maintained.

Then I guess 99.99% of the riding public just does not get it ...
Or there is nothing to get.
Gimmick.
There are litterally thousands of 3 wheers in europe where they are far safer than 2 wheels just not cool here.

Nouvo seem very quick to have the fuel evaporate from the float bowl. FI cures this.
And that old chesnut about using pure gasoline ... look at the calendar, it is 2018 not 1918.
Over 25 years, in chainsaws to HD to Hondas to cars to pickups - Gasahol.
HD sat for almost 7 years. In a steel shipping crate. With 95 Gasohol. Zero issues.
Try and keep up people ...
Really, my Honda CRF250L would not start after 2 monts with the gasahol crap sold here, took it to dealer, they drained the tank refilled with fresh and started immediately, never use gasahol in any 2 stroke here and seals will die in days not weeks, maybe the gasahol you had was not Thai derived.

Thanks for the advice, but i sold the Nouvo too and benzine is not that easy to get (have to look for it)
Where I live virtually all Caltex and PTT sell it, yellow sticker on pump.

The Aerox is just a step up .. faster acceleration smoother ride (got the R version with extra shock). The wheels are wider its not that much bigger but it certainly is a much smoother ride. There is also more storage space i like that too. Now that i got PCX mirrors on it its a bit wider as my old 135 but my field of vision has improved a lot.
Only reason I upgraded was because i sold my big bike and i got a bit tired of my 135 being a non fuel injection one. This meant some days (after a while of not using it) it was hard to start.
That is because you use Gasahol, use real benzine and your problem will be gone.

Thailand is mostly flat and when was the last time you seen any trailers or 30 foot Rv's being towed. Only North America needs big HP to haul all there toys.
Not where I live in Loei

Get 2 res certs when at immigration.
One for selling Ninja, one for buying new bike.
If you live here get a yellow book, then nothing needed from immigration

Diesel enthusiasts in this thread keep on comparing Diesel with Petrol. We're in Thailand gentlemen. You should compare with LPG
TRUE and quite a few very big private Thai companies are changing their work vehicle pickups from diesel to LPG, and they are listed on the SET stock exchange of Thailand => they'd sell their mother to get share prices to raise :)
They do not do this for the environment, it's money, money, money and they are not stupid, calculations show the same everywhere including the company I work for; LPG is cheaper than diesel in the long run also if you cater for that a diesel lasts perhaps 800,000 km and a converted petrol 400,000 km
I would not have an LPG even if it was free, I see far too many burnt out

No, not here. Diesel powered cars and pick-ups still have that death rattle. You also have only elected to trumpet the advantages and none of the disadvantages not the least of which is greater pollution. Also, with all the vehicle collisions that occur in Thailand how many result in fuel fires?
All the ones with gas conversions.

A lot less storage space, if that’s an important feature but I do agree with you, Aerox is a good bike.
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkI have had both and the storage space is virtually the same.

PCX grossly over priced at least 20000 too much, Yamaha Aerox much better.
