  1. because the majority of the population of Crimea are ethnic Russians and some of them even were born when Crimea still belonged to the Russian Soviet Republic. Despite the western claims of "referendum at gunpoint" most of Crimeans really support joining the Russian Federation. And Donbass/Luhansk is Putin's personal game, we the people don't need those.
  2. Exactly. if the western countries really wanted to ruin the Russian economy and stop the war they would have introduced the permanent residency visas and other relocation programs for skilled Russian workers. But as the war is actually beneficial for the western decision makers they instead create all possible hurdles and annoyances for the Russian citizens willing to leave their country.
  3. it might be a sign of a failing drive. first of all run a read test with this program https://hdd.by/Victoria/Victoria537.zip if it will show any amount (more than 0) of bad sectors or many sectors with slow access speed then you could safely throw this drive away.
  4. would you be so kind to explain why you treated my totally on-topic post as an off-topic please? well I assume it was deleted because it described a method to own 100% of a Thai company, which might be considered illegal. But why you don't delete all those posts where people commit immigration crimes by "using an agent to show 800k in the bank"?
  5. sounds like a dying HDD, normally it takes few hours to clone a drive. Or another possibility is the shop technician doesn't know what they are doing and they are stupidly copying files using Windows file explorer, which would really take forever. If they are cloning raw volumes it must take few hours on a healthy HDD>
  6. utter bullshít
  7. not sure if trolling or just stupid. If you want to use their software you have to trust them, if you do not trust them then do not use their software. By running Teamviewer or analogs such as Anydesk you are basically allowing full access to your computer and all data to the unknown third parties. What could ever go wrong?
  8. Teamviewer employees, past and present, could access it.
  9. https://aseannow.com/topic/1263948-isp-technical-support-contacts-needed/ AIS has huge problems with international traffic. If you have to use a mobile network then try DTAC.
  10. Exactly, and your photo proves that as you do not even see the difference between the hard drives and flash storage. You should do yourself a favor and learn how USB drives store data and which factors affect the data retention.
  11. I strongly believe so. Most of the "enterprise" drives I saw were made either in China or in Thailand, with rare exceptions such as Malaysia, Philippines or Viet Nam.
  12. exactly. I have bought server grade drives from ComputerUniverse (Germany) and laughed when saw "Made in Thailand" because the very same drives cost here exactly 2 times more than in Germany including shipping and import taxes. BTW I personally could not recommend ComputerUniverse because their packaging is shít even if you purchase a "premium packaging service" for €5 and the hard drives are very easy to come damaged. Luckily mine came intact. But for robust storage such as SSD this store is great.
  13. As well as your USB sticks and SD cards. Yes, because I know how electronic storage works and you do not.
  14. You need to ask your bank first but I think it should be OK as many UK financial institutions still support SEPA transfers even after the Brexit.
  15. Some ridiculously expensive USB testers (around 200 THB) have a software function to disable the data transmission.
  16. What is "Web3" and why it does not belong to this forum?
  17. I've discovered that AIS modem sometimes connects to TOT network, making internet connection even worse ???? you could see it in the operator information such as MCC/MNC. Linux: $ mmcli -m 0 ... | operator id: 52015 | operator name: TOT3G | registration: home ... to make modem connect back to AIS tell it to register with MCC 520 MNC 03 Linux: $ sudo mmcli -m 0 --3gpp-register-in-operator=52003 Did you know that AIS partnered with TOT?
  18. Nope, my phone is not a trash bin.
  19. I've just checked, they seem to really have fixed their search engine, because now it shows exactly what I've entered into the search field, and previously Lazada offered me everything but the items I've searched for. Nevertheless I won't come back as they freaked me out with their idiotic captcha "we've discovered blabla strange activity please slide" they've been showing me every minute. Edit: I've tried to search for few more items... no, they didn't fixed the search engine. Or maybe just a little bit.
  20. I sincerely hope you are right. Lazada does not work (well) for a year or two already, since they were sold to Chinese holdings. Overpriced shipping, enormous seller fees hence overpriced items, PITA moneybacks, and the most disturbing part is a broken search engine.
  21. IBAN == account number
  22. You need to request an account for each currency, and each currency has its own rules i.e. which documents you will have to provide for their KYC/AML/WṪF nonsense. If you do not care I would advise requesting EUR account only as it seems to have the least amount of hassle.
  23. click uBlock icon, then click the "gears" icon titled "Open the dashboard", in the dashboard open "My Filters" tab and delete all lines with "maps.google.com" or "google.com/maps/"
  24. This is not a long term solution as flash storage tends to degrade after a year. You should really use paper instead.
  25. Install "uBlock Origin" extension and use the "Filter" button.
