I've just thought of something, Last month a company came out to service the air-con, since then it hasn't worked as well as it was before the service.

Is there any chance that they may of messed something up and the air con is now burning way to many units?

Maybe i am just clutching at straws!

If a repairman overcharged or undercharged the freon that is the problem. Same problem repairman released freon when checking and found air to keep running always and still hot.

Big jobs should always be in writing. If you are unsure, have agreement in thai and english.

I would be careful about placing wild birds with your caged birds because of disease.

The ongoing kwh are calculated by the spinning circle before the numbers. As a kwh is used, the circle rotates. One complete rotation is one kwh. The number on the meter is advanced by each complete rotation.

After 6 months, I think it is time to give updates about this matter now.

TOT decreased my bandwith saying the line was too weak. We still have a lot of crash, sometimes during days. They have recurrent technical problems in this area. This is not reliable.

Sophon is expensive but works very well for me. It's quite painful to see coming invoice of 10,000Baht for 6 months for a 2Mb/1Mb line, but I have to say it works. It REALLY works. And the support is very good. Technicians are brilliant, smart and competent. Phone support is efficient and can see in real time everything from their infrastructure to my internal wifi. They are good.

After what I wrote 6 months ago, I wanted to say that. The secret is to take the highest package, which is good for international bandwidth.

They promise between 10Mb and 100Mb guaranteed. As it comes from a company everyone seems to be happy with at the moment, we are maybe heading to a very good news for the end of the year.

I had True ADSL for 2 years and it sucked. Internet was always down. Service was bad.

I think all internet providers have problems in certain areas. Sophon is good if you are within 2 or 3 km from office. I do not know about out areas.

It is a good idea to ask the neighbors for the best connections.

All providers have poor international coverage.

New owners location is not specific to Pattaya vicinity , not sure how well the cat will travel but more concerned in finding a good safe home for him.

Triple B Broadband "stole" the TT&T line to re-establish Internet in my Condo

When I wanted to use the TT&T phone line for faxing using my computer I could not get a dial tone

TT&T were useless in finding the problem, despite three separate technicians visits

Finally got the phone line working when I paid a 400 THB bribe to a Triple T Broadband tech, to re-hook up my phone line

Don't know how the OP got away without paying a TT&T bill since I receive a 107 THB bill every month from TOT, who is TT&T's billing agent, even before the divorce between TT&T and Triple B

I am glad to be moving to a new provider. Will visit 3BB and TOT at end of month, pay bill, cancel all service, and say "GOOD-BYE"

If it only 107 baht, it's only a phone line bill. 3BB was forced not to use TT&T lines anymore, so you could cancel it if you don't what a phone line.

It is true that 3BB and TT&T are breaking up, but there are still many who use 3BB through TT&T lines. Unless you already have had replaced your TT&T line with a 3BB line you can't just cancel your TT&T line. If you do you'll lose your internet access. Go ask 3BB to put in their own line as I explained earlier. Once that is in place you can then cancel the TT&T line.

TOT line and 3BB is a nightmare situation. If internet goes out, 3BB blames TOT or TOT blames 3BB. Luckily I moving to new apartment at end of month and will try Sophon cable internet. I will go over to 3BB and TOT at end of month to cancel both services.

I am currently using 3BB imternet. It was Maxnet when I signed up 2 years ago. I believe I have telephone line just for internet. No TTT bills but just received TOT bill for 107 Baht. Did TTT or 3BB sell lines to TOT? Anyone know what is happening?

About three years ago it was near Pattaya Central Road and 3rd Road, it is still there?

I ordered two beef dishes. The portions were much smaller (new serving plates are small triangles), the beef was of a lower quality, and the sauces were not as good. The quality has declined compared to my three previous visits.

If you like western food, eating out is cheaper than shopping. I was in Villa last night and the prices shocked me.

You can find a nice western meal for 300 to 400 baht. It is impossible to buy same at comparable price in supermarket especially for single eaters. If you are feeding 10 or more maybe. Then you have to cook and clean up. UGH!!!!!

I order a pizza for Pattaya Pizza for 320B. I can not buy the dough, toppings, and sauce for that price. Even if I could, it would not taste as good and I would have to cook it and clean up. Double UGH!!!!!

Go for it. The worst that can happen is if you run out of money, you can go home and get a job.
