That was a long title . . .

I just checked it up today on a bikeride. 

First a map going from HW1020 halfway between Chiang Khong and Thoeng towards Santiburi. 

The letters shows where the photos were taken. 

A  is a photo of the bridge over Ping River.

B and C shows that they still have some work to do.

D is where the new HW will cross HW1174. And what I understand the new HW will get the number 1152. 

E shows they need some more dynamite.

F shows that there is some more work to get the road to connect where the part from Sob Pao ends.

G shows the end of the part from Sob Pao.

H shows a part that is 1,5 km with good asphalt and nice lights that just ends in middle of nowhere. 

I and J shows that people have been around but what they plan to do is not easy to understand.

K shows a place where you can see in the background they are planning to build another fancy bridge. Why they need a bridge there no one can understand.

L shows the planned bridge over Nong Luang. That will also be a very fancy bridge. 

So when will this project be finished? 

A very good question. Not this year and probably not next year 2021 but hopefully sometimes in year 2022.

now then there is a movie on Youtube that is very interesting. 

It is quite controversial, produced by Michael Moore and directed by Jeff Gibbs. 

Name of the movie is "Planet of the Humans". 

You will get another view of for example Solar panels, Wind Power and many other things.

We have been watching Thai PBS Channel 3 at 18.00 weekdays for years. Very good documentaries. 

And with the remote control we can choose audio original language.  Most documentaries we have seen have been made by BBC. 

This week has been BBC's Frozen Planet about Arctic and Antarctic.  Monday was "Winter", yesterday was "Spring" and tonight will be "Summer". 

This serie is hosted by David Attenborough. 

So with no bars and no restaurants to visit it will be TV tonight!   ????

(These series are from 2011 and we have seen series from 1997 and they have all been very interesting).

Hi there,  I was there a week ago for the renewal. 

You have to fill in form TM7.

One passport photo to TM7. 

Paper from Embassy proof of income.

Copy of all pages in your passport (the ones with stamps ). 

I also had copy of my Yellow book.

When I came there around 10.00 there was a queue in front of the Imm office where they took my temperature. I also had to write my name, mobileno, temperature on a list and then I got queue-number. 

They had put up a couple of tents and a lot of chairs where to wait for your number. 

I got no 24 and I heard they were calling for no 12, 13 and 14 so I expected a long wait. But I only had to wait for 15 minutes and they called my number. 

Inside the Imm office with AC were only around 6-8 people waiting and all 5 stands with Imm officers were working. I had picked up my TM7 a couple of days before and had it filled in.  It took 5 minutes and my number was up. Then the Imm officer checked all my papers, he added a stamp on all oo the copies and I had to sign them once more. 

Then another wait for 10 minutes and I got my new visa stamped into my passport! 

Chiang Rai Immigration is far from the problems they have in Phuket and many other places. Very well organized and friendly staff as always.

And opposite the hotel is a very nice Coffee Shop, Destiny! 

Me and my wife were there today to see the exhibition by Martin Doyle.  I must say that this was the most interesting exhibition of art I have seen. 

This exhibition is with his art from many years and there are many different styles.  

This exhibition ends March 28. 

And if you go there, do not miss the exhibition on the second floor. Very interesting with many Thai artists. 

No entrance fee and there is also a very nice restaurant in the same building.

The photo I attached is just showing one style of Martin Doyle's art but maybe his detailed paintings on wood was the one I liked the best.

The Hash today started at Mala Bar in Yet Yod Rd. We were only 6 people because the info about the run was not reaching all of the runners. 

But we had a very good run with a lot of fun.

For me July to middle of November.  More fresh nature July to September but a cooler from middle of September. Smoke starts nowadays already in middle-end of October (if good views are important).
