What do you know about Thai history?  I was involved from the 1960's on because of my affiliation with the American government and it was necessary we became acquainted with Thai history.  I found it easy to find the correct details of Thai history.  I don't think Thai schools teach much but that is a different thing than saying, "Thai History"  is an almost total  fabrication."  It is certainly not a fabrication although certain periods are emphasized and some not taught.

Thai history as it is taught is a pack of nationalist lies and omissions, you cannot even question an Elephant battle 400 years ago, never mind a certain date in 1946 without the threat of arrest. The Thai establishment fear nothing more than historical truth. I don't think it's even allowed to mention 4 high born Thais who live in the USA that have been airbrushed out of history altogether here.

Well, imagine that! I'm surprised the Thais even bother giving out visa for Nigerians any more as I've never hear a positive story about any of them. :coffee1:

There is one 3 doors down, never comes out of the house, has tesco deliver stuff and the pizza man. curtains are closed 24/7. Seen him about 6 times in 4 years when the car goes by. Looks like he's up to no good.

Mrs is all for reporting him to immigration, but I saw no because at least he does not have a bloody dog barking all day like all the Thai residents.

Firstly, well done Thailand for qualifying; no mean feat.

I saw the Sweden game and Thailand were bullied off the ball and could not cope with the bigger and stronger Swedes. Japan reached the final 4 years ago, so it is possible for players smaller in stature to compete at the very top level. Perhaps Japan is where Thailand should look for their next coach.

I think Japan won it a few years ago, Asians can do just as well

    congratulations on awakening from "coma"

I have had loads refusing to go anywhere of course. Mrs once tried to get a taxi for a heavily pregnant women who needed to go to Hospital ASAP, outside Amari Watergate Hotel. They gave up after 7 refused, in tourist areas and at the airports too many of them are lazy, cheating low life's. Unfortunately people make it worse by giving into their greedy demands. Round the corner from the Amari while waiting for a bus I counted 16 taxi's refuse an African woman trying to get a taxi, bus came in the end.
