You're not immediately addicted with heroin but certainly requires self discipline to stop.

Thank you for the info.  I've personally been way too scared to ever try it, especially after seeing friends get addicted and basically ruin their lives on that garbage:  heroin.

I think instead of trying to stop it, gov'ts should realize the impossibility of it, (making it even more worthwhile for dealers because of increased prices), EDUCATION is key, especially to youth.

IF there was a fraction of the amount spent in trying to stop the movement of these dangerous drugs, spent in educating the youth, possibly using their "heroes" like pop-stars, movie actors, etc., and telling the truth, which is, heroin/fentanyl will destroy your lives, but ganja, etc., does NOT kill you, nor does it even affect you that badly, the youth would be able to make an INFORMED decision, which they are not provided with, until now, because gov'ts treat ALL drugs equally, catch/jail/etc. without showing ANY difference to their VERY different consequences on kid's lives.

Other banks I wouldn't know about. How come you do?

Sorry, I should have mentioned "many" other banks.  I have 3 Thai accounts, Kasikorn, Bangkok Bank, and SCB.

For me, only Kasikorn has consistently been within seconds.

I believe somebody above mentioned that Kasikorn is Wise's main bank in Thailand, and I suppose that would be the reason for my experiences.

Heroin and fentanyl are producing a lot of deaths.

Totally agree, but there is a world of difference between fentanyl/heroin and cocaine!

If you try heroin, I believe you are hooked immediately, and almost invariably become an addict (no personal experience, but from what I've read, and from people who have done it).

From personal experience, I spent a good 15 days with some friends in South America, doing coke daily, and sometimes copious amounts!

Got on the flight home, and apart from some slight depression over the next few days, there was NO overwhelming urge to go and find some, and get high again, when back home and back to normal life!

I know that coke is a recreational drug, and you don't NEED to do it daily.  Not so with heroin.  They need to be treated differently by authorities, IMHO.

The kids' lives are affected when their mothers, fathers, siblings or whoever get addicted to these damned drugs.

My friend, a LOT more children worldwide are affected by alcoholic parents, than those addicted to drugs!

Alcoholic addiction is rampant everywhere, whereas drug addiction amounts to a small percentage of the population in almost all countries.

You, or any politician, wanting to help children of addicted parents, should try to do something about alcohol first, before setting your sights on mainly recreational drugs like coke, which is restricted to wealthy individuals.

  5. I think this is a troll, or bob (same thing?).

Because he says he has been doing this for a year, then later says:

I entered the same name, address and account number as always.

Anybody using Wise knows they do not enter the "same" details every time, because you save your own Thai bank details, and only click transfer to yourself every time, and it should go through like every other time.

He does not specify what steps he took to rectify the problem, only that a vague problem exists.  Let's see "his" future posts to determine if this is just a time waster.

My intention is to use it as a tracker for motorcycle, is there a monthly cost on top of the packages. 99 B, 199B, 599 B ?

WOW!  Can you please follow my advice, and throw away 99 baht and be very pleased with the results???

If you're using it for your bike tracking, I see your 99 baht "investment" lasting you at least 4-6 months!!!  No further "hidden" charges!!!

There is NO other comparable value for internet connection available in Thailand, as already mentioned many times!!!!

Google GOMO Thailand and get a local to sign up, you will get a card within days at your doorstep.

Further advice for other readers who may want to consider GOMO, you get to CHOOSE your phone number, for FREE!  (And there are some great numbers available!)

Further, even the 99 baht one year package comes with free 10GB super speed (100 MBPS+) internet, and also some free phone calls to any carrier in Thailand.

Further, you can use this same sim for many asean countries!!!

AMAZING, yes, but sadly, only available to locals to sign up, but you are free to use it after your GF/Wife registers it!!!

And the goal of muslims is  clearly written in their koran.

If you are referring to muslim terrorists and the like, as far as I know, there is nothing in the koran about harming other religions.

This is all recent bs made up by ultra conservative muslim clerical leaders to control their own people.

You see, in many muslim countries, even children are forced to memorize and to be able to "recite" the koran, but they have to do it in arabic, which they do not understand, because they speak completely different languages in daily life.

Due to that discrepancy of their language and the koran's, these religious leaders can and do basically say anything they wish, and say that it is "written" in the koran, when it most certainly is not.

    My 2 cents.
