  1. Its there all the time embedded in mens health advertising. Just click the link. Ive reported previously several times. FB don't block it. Its paid revenue.
  2. Would be great to get Obama back. But to be honest POTUS will be lucky to survive in the mid terms. He's definitely a few sandwiches short of a picnic. Irreparable damage he's creating.
  3. Love you long time. (Along with numerous other walking ATM's)
  4. In my little part of Thailand they smoke. Have mobile phones. Certainly are not poor. Many don't seem to do long years. All Certainly need exercise . Get ample food and donations.
  5. So you pay 100 for a ticket marked 80 baht. Then if you win the 6 million baht 60,000 goes in fees. Then the wife's family will queue up for a loan from lucky farang 555
  6. Its basically a combination of things in Thailand. No knowledge of the road laws. Disregard of road laws. Giving way to pedestrians especially on crossings. Undertaking where people pass on the left hand side. DIU... Road traffic policing... And on its goes..
  7. I actually saw an old thai chap with an empty ice cream container on his head driving along yesterday. The mind boggles.
  8. Lucky if they have mirrors. As for manoeuvres. Its a last second decision. Undertake Overtake. Drive on pavement. Drive on wrong side of the road
  9. Its the law. For everyone, not just farang because they can pay the fine. (Usually cash and no receipts) Its been said so many times before and to be honest they are like Lemmings rushing into the rivers to drown. Ok, sanity check time. Helmet must be worn. Its the law. Multiple people on a bike. NO Kids 4 on a bike. NO. Side cars attached to a bike and Granny in a plastic chair. NO. Loud exhaust systems. NO. Lights on bikes. YES. Stopping at traffic lights. YES. Stop at pedestrian crossing. YES. Actually having a licence to drive. YES. Registration and insurance. YES. Someone else taking licence test. NO. Giving way. YES. Use indicators. YES. Stopping at an accident. YES. Brand new bikes sold without registration or insurance. NO. There's a definite pattern here.!! See where I'm going? 250,000 "active" police sat in little offices phones in hand. You are lucky to see a police officer at night. Even harder to get one to attend. Time for serious changes.
  10. We've been here before. Last time invoked horrendous terms for entry and short term stays in Thailand. I personally had 4 hotel quarantines. Numerous expensive covid tests Locked out 9 months because I didn't have an OA just a non O and extension. Thai airline flights lost. Surely we have learned enough? A vaccine isn't for everyone. Believers or non believers. I did my bit. Shots and boosters. Now the government should be introducing free vaccine shots of reputable brands for anyone who wants to have. Sadly nothing is free in Thailand. But the economic impacts are already being seen Introducing free shots would be a major event in the eyes of the tourism world.
  11. A lot of knockers to my last post. Non believers. I've had 6 jabs. But had it 2 times. Very mild cold like. So there's some benefits in the vaccine. IMO.
  12. It never went away. Records on reported cases stopped over a year ago. So could have been unreported a long time. I know in Issan that many people especially elderly would not have Moderna vaccine. Or come to think of it, any vaccine at all. Very low rates of actual vaccination. Maybe time to introduce a reactivation of vaccination.
  13. Another nonsense announcement. 5 more days a year to officially consume alcohol. (Not that people currently have a problem doing this) One of the biggest contributors to the road deaths every day in Thailand.
  14. So what does it do that other CCTV and facial recognition software doesn't do already? It can't run or apprehend. You still need a plod to implement the arrest. But then again you don't see many BIB actually running or raising a sweat.
  15. So basically phishing all your information including passport details.
  16. Does it sit behind a desk. Play phone games. And Accept tea money..
  17. A tradition dating back to Greek times. Nothing new here...lol. In Greek, "fakelaki" (φακελάκι) literally means "little envelope". However, it's also a term used in Greek popular culture to describe the practice of offering bribes, often in small envelopes of cash, to expedite services or secure favors.
  18. Put an end to "you want extra". Or special massage. Let's face it, there's an abundance of physiotherapy places available. Even public hospital offers for 240 a session. I put it in the same context as "no prostitution in Thailand " Just another knee jerk. (Or knee tremble lol)
  19. Err. Isn't that disrespectful? The tattooist should know that. But you see plenty of them.
  20. They need Lazada to do thier systems. Works great for me (Lazada) lol
  21. So 50% were not recorded correctly.? Probably explains why I was pulled up last entry. Asked if I had another name. A middle name (James) He was a person of interest they explain to me. Not a nice person they say. I convinced them I wasn't him And actually a nice person lol. But about 15 minutes to sort out.
