Video Summary #1: To Carry/Hold
When I find a video useful to me I’ll watch it a few times, but after that I only want a very brief summary in my notebook for quick review. The summary makes more sense after watching, and the video contains additional examples and allows you to hear pronunciation in Thai. Maybe somebody here will find something useful as well.
To Carry/Hold: Depends on the action involved and the weight of the object.
1. ถือ: To carry/hold a small item in the hand. Mobile phone held in hand, มือถือ. To hold a cell phone: ถือมือถือ

Comments, suggestions, examples, constructive criticism welcome. Even better, summarize a video or other material and post it. I am not qualified to teach Thai at any level, I merely summarized the video and did a bit of cross-referencing with other sources. Keep in mind that words are often used differently among various regions, families and even individuals. More words for ‘to carry’ can be found at www.thai-language.com
