Questions for PCR test on arrival at Suvarnabhumi airport
Do I have to book a RT-PCR test from UK, or will it be done when I arrive at immigration
Which hotels near the airport are qualified for Covid-19 quarantine and when will they be published so I can book a room.
How do I transfer to the hotel from the airport, or are all taxis qualified for Covid-19 quarantine
How will I be notified of the result of the test?
If I fail how do I arrange a second test

Is this a new variation on the Non- O or has it always been 90 days?

I am thinking of returning to Thailand but my old Non O has expired so have to start the process again in London
Has anyone already done this through Thai London Embassy during 2021 and were there any new requirements or documentation required other than usual pension income proof, bank statements and P60 tax forms?
Any other things you think I should think about within the process
Thanks in advance for all or any replies

Hi
Because of COVID-19 situation I had to return to UK on the 23rd of March 2020 and my then Non-Immigrant O retirement Visa expired on the 2nd of January 2021.
I now need to obtain a new Non-Immigrant O Visa assuming it may be possible for me to return to Thailand in October or November 2021.
I have looked through the embassy website but I’m not sure which visa is appropriate.
I’m not married to a Thai, have noThai children, have a Thai Bank account with more than 800,000 baht balance and appropriate travel & health insurance.
It’s been many years since I did this so would appreciate it if anyone could advise me which basic Visa I need to obtain from London Thai embassy to enable me to convert it to a Non-immigrant O Visa when I am able to return to Thailand.
I look forward to advice from anyone who has done this in the last year or soThanks in advance

Why can’t the Embassy re instate this service and if not why not?
many other Foreign Embassies provide this service so what is the problem with the British Embassy?
verification cannot be an excuse because they were providing this service for donkeys years

I have used Embassy Proof of Income letter for several years. Now have to use 800k. Does this count as a “ new” renewal and only need 2 months or is it a “ regular “renewal so it must be in account for 3 months
APOLOGIES IF REPEAT BUT LOOKED FOR BUT COULD NOT FIND ONE
Thanks

I’m thinking same way so can anyone confirm that I can get effectively 2 years from my new OA if I arrive in Thailand on 10th October 2019 with OA, leave end of March 2020 and return to Thailand on 4th October 2020?
all replies appreciated, especially if I’m wrong and give me a better plan
Thanks

Is this your 1st O-A and did you change from ‘O’?
What about the Criminal Record?
when you say original bank statements ( presumably proving your pension income)did you print them online yourself or did you request originals and covering letter from your bank
also how many months statements did you provide
If you are doing the 800,000 baht equivalent how many months statements did you supply and were they online printouts or did you request originals and covering letter from your bank(s)?
im thinking of changing from ‘O’ to O-A
if you changed from ‘O’ did the Embassy cancel your ‘O’?
Thanks for your reply

or are you just ? in love ???

I hope you appreciate the need for this basic information that the authorities have seemed to ignore or forgotten to address
