  2. 60Bht in Patters!! :o

    That's a small bottle.......ours is a HUGE bottle

That was lucky.........no takers on the Guiness offer yesterday. Oh except Yorky. But he says Lovejoy's paying when he comes again.

  3. However I am planning a trip to Farang Connection in April, just to see if Lampshades is as tight as his reputation suggests.

    TBWG :D

Make sure you report back here when you get your results :o so it looks like you will miss out on that first free beer from me, you could ask lampy for one on tick and i will pay for it when i get there, but i dont know if he will accomodate that. I did look on his site to pay by c/c but it appears he doesnt accept my card :D

By the way lampy, any chance you could get me a 3 litre bottle of robinsons apple and blackcurrant squash. I dont want the sugar free rubbish though. I am also happy to pay over the odds for it. I would bring it myself but with a new baby i am going to have way to much to carry. Will be there at the beginning of July to collect :D

I'll see what I can do

  4. Why does farangconnection's two posts make me think the member is actually Sunee?

I am sure "Lampshade........will you stop making those promises you can't keep." is common pillowtalk in the FC :o

    :D:D:D

  5. Not sure i will get all the way upto Korat. How far is it from Surin? I have never travelled in these parts before so i am not sure of distances and times. The wifes family hale from Sakaeo, which apparently is about 3 hours from Surin. So we will be making the trip to see Lampy and his band of pissheads, staying overnight and then heading back down to Sakaeo. But we might be convinced to travel upto Korat for a day or two as long as it isnt too far away :o

It's easy to get to Sakao from Surin by going to Korat first. Don't worry. We'll give you directions.

And you're right. He's changed his name. He told me he was going to last time he was here.

  6. Please let me know where you can get a Guinnes for 115 baht (115 + 30% = 149.50)

Last time I bought one in Foodland I paid 190 baht, and where else in Surin can I eat the same quality farang food???

    Just wonder????????? :o

That's right...........I paid 190 for mine as well, but as it's St Paddies day I thought I would give my locals a treat and drop the price to 150. And Joyeves. Yes we do have a special attraction. It's called bloody good food.As for 30% dearer.........well. I suppose if it were true, I could justify it by explaining that the 30% extra is to transport the goods from the place it is 30% cheaper, up to Surin. Most people don't need that explaining to them, but then there are nunbskulls who do. As it is most people are quite happy to pay my grossly inflated prices, and nary a word is said against me after I have prised every last satang from their wallets, and send them penniless on their ways to explore the Devil dives of downtown Surin. Actually for every 100 happy customers I do get 3 that moan. And who needs 103 customers every day. :D

And also nojoy, if you ask me nicley I can direct you to a nice little noodle shop where you can eat your fill for 20baht.

  7. For our special this week we will be offering cans of draught Guinness at only ฿150 on St. Micks Day March 17th, no buying to take away of course.

Sunday Roast on March 19th will be Roast Silverside of Beef with all the trimmings ฿250

  8. Hello,

If things go according to plan I should be in Sisaket (Rasisali) for 3 months, for Songkran onwards. Staying with my gf and her family.

I really need to meet some English speaking women or men for some conversation and drinks/food.

Look two inches above your post.......otherwise go to Franks bar near the bus station in Sisaket
