    Skilled builders near me in Buriram are on 350 baht a day (8am to 5pm). Not sure how much the women labourers are on, but it's slave labour and needs addressing.

    Sooner they criminalize marijuana the better. Thailand is becoming a <deleted>-hole with weed shops everywhere. These places are frowned upon in the west, mainly because of the tattooed retards that frequent them and to make matters worse they think smoking weed is a bit of harmless fun.

    Very sad, but this is common in all western countries.

    In Buriram they've started replacing these horrid old dangerous minibuses with new bigger more robust safer vehicles. Whenever I see them on a motorway I'm always nervous because they believe the roads are free for all and I keep a wide berth.

    4 tons of canned fish on a small Toyota pick-up truck seems excessive, but hey ho this is Thailand 🤔

    There's roughly 90,000 Ukraine and Russians here fulltime and most are between 30 and 50 (lots with young children), so I often wonder what visas are they on or maybe not on 🤔

    Here in Buriram there's loads of farang like him. Funny enough they all seem to have enough money for drugs, alcohol and an under the counter visa. They need to crack down on these bums ASAP and get them deported.

    They should take home to Soi Kowsan in Bangkok where he can buy a fake degree and TEFL certificate and then give him a job as an English teacher.

    Just give the hospital a an IOU and walk out. Thousands do it every year here, so go with the flow.

    He knows the rules, and if not he does now. Too many farang here trying to bypass the laws. If they don't like it then he and his girlfriend shouldn't be here. Thai people I speak to say they are tired of ignorant / disrespectful farangs living here and want change to the visas limiting their stay.

    I was in Ho Chi Minh at New Year and two kids on a local bus just started talking to me in good English and it was a joy, as back here on Thailand all you get from them is a stare or farang farang 😴

    Not surprised, as most of the Thai English teachers can only speak very basic English; also it doesn't help that the Thai governments main criteria for a job is whether you can afford to buy the teaching position. Finally, most schools now only want non-native English speakers because they're cheaper and will work unrealistic hours.

    Amazing, but this is common for children in all countries now. Very sad, but I don't think they'll be a good outcome for the girl, as her parents don't have funds to influence or proceed further.

    If you ask me, it's another job for President Trump. He'll have the city cleared of undesirables and leveled flat in no time.
