I've just started watching season 1 of Mystery Road: Origin. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt16343844/ Set in the Australian outback, it follows Jay Swan, a young officer who arrives at his new station in the town where his estranged father lives, as does the woman who will change his life forever, Mary.
