There is fine line between expressing an opinion and a totally negatively post in a Pattaya Forum read by residents and potential visitors and these two posts crossed that line.

A gentle reminder .... it is against the forum rules to openly discuss moderator actions so one post was removed that quoted a moderator's post removal notice. Thanks anyway for the thoughts expressed.

I guess that like so much else here, it pays to shop around and compare services and prices. The difficulty we all have is knowing what is a genuine part - and worth more - and what is not - and thus cheaper - since all are probably made in China. Coming back to my own experience, I was panicking and went to the nearest shop in my area that looked like it could help and was happy to get the service at the price asked. I confess that I did not follow the "shop around and compare" process in this instance ...

The recreation of a crime scene is common here as it helps verify what actually happens for court evidence as well as plays a part in the confession process that can reduce any sentence later in court. That the news reporters are there is not part of any process other than typical media coverage.
