I consider myself a Southerner before I do an American. American born, Southern by the Grace of God. I have lived throughout the Southern U.S. Never wished to live in the northern U.S. especially the northeastern U.S. Like warm weather, hate snow. If a person is not a Southerner, I prefer Thais (2nd)
I have seen the Government of the United States make many mistakes in my lifetime. I first voted in 1968 & have had only one person I voted for elected Pres. But I know - proof is in calamities around the world - that the American people have the biggest hearts in the world. I find it very sad that such a large percentage of Europeans despise the U.S. Government and do not differentiate between it and the people. There are many reasons, too numerous to mention here that tens of millions of people from all around the world risk death to try to get into the U.S. No matter how hard I have tried in my lifetimeI have not been able to change one single thing that the U.S. Government does. It would be my guess that all the "America" haters on ThaiVisa do not have a dam_n thing to say about what their country does either. Yes, you have a vote but are you positive it was counted? Are you positive it was not given to another candidate? Too bad politics keeps people from around the world of being friends. I wish it were not so.
It is my intention to spend the rest of my life in Thailand. I care about this country as does my Thai wife.
