  1. I'm quite sure that he is talking about availability in Thailand, not in the US. For a short period Triumph sold the Tiger 1200 (Explorer) in Thailand, so you can find a few models of these. I don't know if they ever sold any other bike with a 1200 triple here.
  2. Why don't you want to tell the Thais as well? There are way more than farangs.
  3. Point 2 of the police order: Google translate of this, which seems about right:
  4. You order a parcel in the Netherlands and this gets shipped by the Belgian post through UPS? I'm quite sure that the post office doesn't use UPS, but the shop that sent you the parcel used UPS.
  5. As said in every topic like this: Don't use couriers like UPS, DHL, etc, always send by mail.
  6. A problem with travelling unvaccinated is also simply the different enforcement of rules and that policies can change every day. Maybe you take the train somewhere, and then a few days later you discover that at in this province (maybe even due to a recent policy change) they allow only vaccinated people to use the train or public transport in general. Then suddenly you are kinda stuck there.
  7. You get a stamp saying something like "left Thailand not more than 24 hours too late" instead of a real overstay stamp.
  8. In the dropdown: "Tourist Visa" -> "Duration of stay no longer than 90 days"
  9. If you are out of your house/condo/room you have to wear a mask, no exceptions, that's what the law says. Failure to do this can result in a 20k fine. Technically illegal, but socially accepted situations in which people take off their mask: Eating / drinking Driving car / riding bike Exercising / Being in the pool Taking pictures
  10. And the finance was solely in your name? Not cosigned by the wife or whoever?
  11. Contact the finance/company bank who currently owns the vehicle about how to purchase the vehicle from them. If you don't work here they won't offer you finance.
  12. Click on the red "Urgent Announcement" button. The Thai version says 14 day mandatory quarantine for people from other african countries (8 african countries are banned). Looks like they skipped this word in the English version. But looking at this, it could of course happen that if in the next week the cases of the new varient in Europe should rise, that suddenly Test&Go will be scrapped for them as well. So good luck planning a trip to Thailand.
  13. So adding common fees and assuming after the 5.5 years it gets demolished, this boils down to about 25k per month, paid 5.5 years in advance? I think if somebody is willing to pay rent 5 years in advance there are quite a wide range of 60+ sqm condos for 25k per month to be found in Bangkok, or am I wrong with this assumption?
  14. I put in some random glass cleaner diluted with water.
  15. If I remember correctly in CM there is a sign next to the entrance which says something like "No extension without TM30".
  16. I assume by "reporting slip" you mean the TM30 receipt that the hotel did? Your registered address is now at the hotel, and you do your 90 day report at the local immigration office.
  17. They will now use the more expensive palm oil instead of diesel, so the electricity prices will rise?
  18. They inject in the arm, don't embarrass yourself by letting your pants down. There is no national list, the health offices of every province manage this. Some health offices have a Facebook page where they post such information, if yours doesn't you can give them a call.
  19. Depending on the circumstances you can also do it online or at 7/11:
  20. Maybe some dispute between the IOs and the agents, like not enough money forwarded or so. Last year there was a news about a well known visa agent being arrested for using fake stamps etc. After a while it turned out that everything was a "misunderstanding" ????
  21. But agent assisted extensions are what immigration wants people to do, this earns them money, so I don't see why they would make problems for these people. The real reason why people who, in the IO's opinion, "stayed too long on tourist visas" did some times have problems was that IOs didn't earn any backhanders from them. Due to IOs giving them problems, these people might have decided to switch to agent assisted non-immigrant visas / extensions and the IOs get paid.
