  1. I'm not totally sure about that 7 day extension but as long as you leave before it expires I see no reason it wouldn't be cool. Watch for ubonjoe to respond and take his word as gospel.

  2. I was reading the American web site for thais going through the USA little confusing.
any one have experience with thais just transiting through the airport flying from Bangkok then to Canada
but the connection air port would be in the states
    thx in advance
If she stays in the secure area no visa is required.

  3. That no real reason to return is a huge factor.

I'm talking about food stores catering to the Asian population. I just looked on the shelf there are 5 different fish sauces lol. Utah is indeed beautiful but dang cold in the winter. I used to live in cedar city. Good to know you're not rushing into this but it has gotten very difficult to get a US visa in the last year or so even for spouses

  4. I have visited Thailand 8 times in the last 38 months. Maybe 6 months total.  I've traveled all over Thailand.  For this lady 5 separate visits in the last 16 months.   So I'm not rushing into this.  She was denied a tourist visa.   I imagine denied due to insufficient funds ( or lack of debt)  plus to good looking.  And no real reason to return.    Yes it is cool in Utah and not to much Asian food or  big Thai community.  No street food a short walk away
But fresh air mostly except during inversions.   I'm just not sold on living in such a 3 Rd World country where I can do any hobby jobs,  And it's to hot in Thailand for me. .  If I was a monger at heart or didn't live in such a nice location I could see the attraction Thailand offers.
Yes this is a long scary road.   I need to trust my guts.  I guess I start with  form I 129f.
I just can't believe no other threads about K1 visa on TV.

  5. I tried a search using K1,. K1 visa
I get zero results for K1?   Surely there must be K1 USA visa threads?

I have read much about the visas and I guess it may be time for me to start a K1 for a special lady.   I think given all the craziness in Thailand living in USA would be my best plan
I do have concerns. I have read  the warning to never bring a Thai woman to your country.
I read where you need income of 125% of poverty level or assets or some combination.   I am 59 in July and have been unemployed, semi retired or what you want to call it for a few years so I don't have income.  What asset levels are they going to want to see?   I do plan to begin a rental income stream soon that I think will be at or above the minimum Income for my state.  How long will I need this minimum Income stream for if it is used?  I think they ask for 3 years tax returns.
    A few  more questions.
Is the timeline still about 10 months? What are  the most important things they look at?

You might want to consider this. If you don't live near a large Asian community where they have an Asian market you're gonna have issues. I'm hesitant to bring my wife with me for a 3 week vacation and I live near an Asian market place. The reason I'm hesitant is due to the weather. When it dips below 70 in the morning my wife dresses like an Eskimo not sure how she would handle 40s or 50s. One more thing I've noticed the US Embassy has been turning down visas for wives at a more noticeable rate.
I recommend you coming here first. It's not all that difficult just requires leaving the country every 60 days to get a new stamp. After you get married you get a one year visa but still have to leave every 90 days. Yes it's a hassle but if she's worth it shouldn't be a problem.

Basic US tourist visa is a B 1 or 2

  7. I think she'd be more likely to pick Beto. A Harris/Pete ticket would unfortunately get too much backlash as an all identity politics ticket. Black/South Asian/Woman -- Gay albeit white Man. It's sad such calculations come into it, but in this real world they really do.
I like this klovechar from Minnesota (I'm sure I misspelled her name). Seems level headed more than a little left of center and got Midwestern grit about her

  8. gropy joe is old news. even the metoo movement gave him a senior citizen pass.
the hurdle he has to pass is the meeting he had with comey, yates, obama jan5 2017
the meeting comey kept hidden from congress.
You mean like Donnie had with vladi. Just this past week it was reported by the Kremlin they had an hour phone call where he assured Donnie that he wasn't involved in Venezuela. For 2 months now I've been hearing from Pompeo and Bolton trashing on Russia for its involvement not to mention Russian bombers stationed there. Do you not think that Donnie, Pence and Barr have never met off record.

  9. Currently on a retirement extension, next and final 90 day report due 7th June 2019, extension of stay permitted until 28th June 2019. Retirement extension was done through an agent where the visa was obtained at an upcountry office however have subsequently changed my address to Bangkok and has been officially changed on previous 90 day reports. Considering going back to apply for a multi entry non imm O based on marriage to a Thai (have been married for 12 years). Have insufficient funds to do an extension at CW so plan is to go to Savannakhet prior to 28th June to apply My questions are,

    1. Should I do a 90 day report on the 7th June?
    2. Should I obtain a re entry permit prior to leaving Thailand to go to Savannakhet (around 25th June), or is this not necessary?
    3. Possible grilling on leaving Thailand via land border at Mudkahan given my retirement visa was obtained via an agent upcountry?
Not sure about first question but would guess yes. As for the other two I say no. If your visa is good until the 28th no need to make an extra trip. As for grilling at mudahkan it's highly unlikely I do my 90 border runs at Mae Sot except for my annual run to Savanaket never been questioned about anything anywhere I've crossed

  10. Republicans are stepping up as potential presidential candidates for 2020.  Could there be some buzz within the ranks that the incumbent may be otherwise encumbered?

Hey, there is no constitution!  The Mueller report proved that.  Oh wait, that was collusion.  No matter, neither collusion nor constitution appear in the redacted report, so it's total vindication.

Except for those 10 obstruction of justice roadmaps in volume 2 of the report. In each case it identified the action the context and intent of each case laid out but could not charge because of DOJ policy if not indicting a sitting president. So no it's far from being 'case closed'. Statue of limitations is 5 years so we shall see

  11. Didn't take long.  The Republicans are already trying to blame Obama for Trump getting caught with his tiny hand in the cookie jar:

The partisan warfare over the Mueller report will rage, but one thing cannot be denied: Former President Barack Obama looks just plain bad. On his watch, the Russians meddled in our democracy while his administration did nothing about it.

Actually he did act on it which in turn they are crying that he was spying on them. Must be nice to have a cake and eat it too. These FISA warrants they are up in arms about are proof he acted

  12. Actually he said he was bound by DOJ policy not to indite a sitting president therefore he passed it to Congress to decide and to other jurisdictions to act upon the end of his term. So yes he did in fact find sufficient evidence but could not prosecute. You might want to continue reading the report, if in fact you are reading it

What part of this don't you understand:

1 Mueller did not find evidence to suggest that anything Trump did rise to the level that would justify a criminal charge of conspiring or coordinating with Russia to interfere in the 2016 US presidential elections.

2  Mueller stated that on obstruction of justice,
‘while this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him’.

The 2 year waste of money attempt to overthrow the officially elected President of the USA is over. Give it up all ready, there is nothing there and never was.

This was always a distraction created primary by the Clinton's and her supporters
