If I remember Amron had a packaged unit that might work for you. I was thinking of trying to send one home for the Hunting/Fishing shack. Battery, controller and inverter where self contained. Had 12v dc outputs for lights and fans they sold. Also had a couple USB ports and a normal plug or two.
As a side note Dewalt has a 12v car charger for there 12v/20v Max system.

Another vote for spending a little more know. You will enjoy it much more. I am bigger than you and I will fly past much younger and healthier people peddling for all their worth on there Walmart bikes.

I believe some of the hub motors regen.
The small motor small battery is a idea I have been thinking about for a while. Just something that would help with steep/long hills or maybe let you start up a gear or two from a stop.

You would be very unlucky ... wouldn't you ...if you had an accident and the top off the gas bottle got knocked off and all caught fire ....... As Crossy said gas cylinders are different and you must have the cap on etc etc... else they can make an Exocet ...
Yes. I have never seen anyone use the cap here though. Seen countless trucks full of cylinders with no cap. Also seen a guy transporting one of the smaller cylinders on his lap on the motorcycle. Valve sticking out into traffic.

Fishing with my dad on a lake it northern Ontario. Had not rained in like two months. No sooner than we get a line in water then the sky goes from blue to black and opens up with a rain that would even impress Noah. Run the boat aground on the beach and head for the buildings. About 20-30 feet from the tree line when lightning hits the tree in front of me. I am soaked to the bone and the hair on my arms still stands up, can't see for several seconds welding flash times ten and the only thing you can smell is ozone. That made a impact.

Exciting isn't it?
Most exciting was coming within 10m of getting hit by lightning when I was young. That was a pant filler. Couple of years later on a tour of the high voltage lab at UofW that a friends father ran he couldn't understand why I was not as impressed as the other kids with his indoor lightning till I told him about having a front row show of the real thing.

Yes your SKF is a sealed bearing (2RS). There are counterfeit bearings but I doubt they would bother with 608 as they are cheap even in the good brands.

Been mostly dry here. Looked like it opened all three phases. The wiring in this area was interesting even by Thai standards.

Having lunch at a little local stand and it sounded like a bomb went off. Windows rattle in the buildings the whole deal. Are Thai manager asks the locals <deleted>. Oh bad electric wires it does that every once and a while. Speechless

I have a number of local "magic shops" who have just about anything you can imagine, just go to the right one and thou shalt be fulfilled.
Nothing like it in the UK, got to love Thailand.
Yes. I am surprised at the some of the shops here. Made it into the Chinatown area to have a look at some of the places you and Impulse have recommended. It's a good thing I can keep reminding myself that what I buy has to fit in my luggage to go home. Any type of steel, aluminum, copper or brass. You could want. Also something's like a time capsule. There was a shop selling electric drills made in the German D.R.

NMB is most likely the maker. You sometimes get letters and numbers after the size to denote things like high temp or high precision. 608 is very common I believe. Should be 8mm ID 22mm OD. If you can't find shielded (Z/ZZ) you can use a sealed (RS/2RS) bearing. Actually probably should be a 2RS but they are a couple baht more so manufacturers will use a ZZ.

Yes some bearings are only a three digit number. Off the top of my head I believe that is the light duty metric series. Yes to be double shielded it's supposed to be ZZ but many manufacturers just mark them Z

Only every known these generically as Molex. But that probably is not the real name and there is undoubtedly a identifier for it's size and number of pins. More important where can I get one. Heading into Bangkok this weekend.

Yes there are basically three types of LED tubes being sold. The plug and play that has a onboard driver that is designed to work with the old ballast. Tubes that have a separate driver that is wired into the fixture like the ballast was and Line voltage tubes were the driver is internal and the fixture provides line voltage at the tube pins.

Yes you have to check the wire to. Thought I had found one. Had the three pin US/EU outlets a three pin US plug. Then I look at the wire 2 x 0.5mm so ground is fake and 0.5mm wire come on.

Are you saying that your current outlets are not grounded? If so, that would be the issue and not depend on a new type of bar.
Sorry I meant the power bars should be grounded. So many of the ones I see here are ungrounded plugs.

Trying to find some good power bars for the office. Office outlets are the type that will take two or three pin US or EU plugs. Would like them to take two or three pin US or EU plugs. Be grounded. Surge protection would be nice. Don't want the type that will take every plug type under the sun including fingertips. Any recommendations on brand or place to buy?

I believe Makita offers one to. Save you from going from 12v DC to 240v AC back to XXv DC. Was looking at Makita here in Canada but Dewalt and Milwaukee are just more common. Makita make a tool battery powered coffee maker I found interesting.
