Hopefully next time you'll see the matching outlets

Haco Thailand do them http://www.hacothailand.com/product-list.php?type_id=1&type_name=Switches %26 Sockets

    Various codes A8-G132, LK 65431, LK 65421, LK 65421, M4-G20, M3-G10

If you can't find them locally Lazada may be your friend but their search engine sucks (or it does when I try it).

They did have the sockets/outlets to.

Yes the Lazada search can be very hit or miss.

  2. 2200w heating element, temperature controler, timer and a solenoid valve. So thinking about 12A

I have melted my fair share of US style plugs on 1000-1500W  space heaters. I  am sure the original design and engineering  say they are good for 15-16A  but once manufactured by the lowest price bidder not so much.

Seen the Schuko 16A plugs at Hardware House today. Every time I go there I see something different.

  3. OK so the new laptop is promoting me to buy the Office suite as my 30 days are almost up.  What is the best, safest, cheapest way of doing this? Buy right from Microsoft, get friend or relative to buy key and send me the number or is there a good local option?

  4. Another option to diy a socket good for medium duty is to make one from some  steel tube. If you can find something else like a nut, bolt or fitting that is the same size and a pice of tube somewhere  in between  the  size flat to flat and point to point. You can rough out something by hammering the tube over the hex.

Not true at all.  (Edit:  Well, at least not universally true)  High speed and low friction bearings thrive on oil.  Put grease into a fishing reel spool end bearing, and you won't be able to cast more than a few feet.

Agreed. There  are  many  that  run in oil baths or pressurized  oil  systems.  Small  amounts of  real  oil to soften dried  grease  is normally  fine. I  think  where  the  no oil  in bearings  comes  from is the miss use  of  everyone's  old  friend  WD40  People  would  over  use  it  and wash whatever grease and oil  out of the bearing. It would  fail, they  would  think  but I oiled  it with  WD40 oil must  be  bad for  bearings.

  6. I would also say any of the western based chains like Marriott. I would think they see a slightly higher percent of English speaking travelers because of brand recognition and people that are members of there points programs.

I am from the area CJ started so ate it many times.

It does not seem to be catching on here.  Like I mentioned, the name recognition is limited.  It is a much smaller franchise then their competitors.

Would not be surprised if they left as I never see many people in their places and the " no meat" issue is a joke.

I would love to see an In and Out burger here but I know no way Jose.

Usually my first stop when I am back home.

Yes I was quit surprised to see Carl's jr in Thailand. My only real exposer to them has been at the Airport in Vegas. They have been my standard red eye flight prep for a couple of years now.  Some brands have made bigger names overseas. When was the last time you seen a Kenny Rogers Roasters in the US?

  8. Thank you Sheryl

Yes there are better things I could be taking for the back. But seeing what all the pills did to my Grandmother and Aunt I try to deal with it as drug free as possible. A bottle of the Acetaminophen/Methocarbamol normally lasts about a year at 80 pills for <B130 from Costco the last thing I had from the Doctor was only slightly better but >B50 a pill here.
