  2. I am now on Extension of Stay (Retirement) until end of July 2022.
I am staying in a Thai Condo which I am the owner.
I have a Savings Account with two Thai Banks.
I will be going back home to Malaysia soon.
Assuming I may return back to Thailand after my Extension of Stay expired.
I may just return back to Thailand on a "30 Days" Visa Free Stay.
My question is on my Thai Savings Account ".
    1. Will I be able to withdraw or deposit on my Thai Savings Account ?
    2. Will I be able to maintain my Thai Savings Account as I will not be on "Retirement".
I will just return to Thailand with just a "30 Days Stay" from time to time.
    3. Will I be able to withdraw or deposit with my "30 Days Stay" without an Yearly
        Extension of Stay ?
    Your advice is much appreciated.
    Thanking you all in advance.

  3. My next 90 Days Reporting will be 1st May. I have two questions to ask.

I plan to leave Thailand on the 1st May.

    1. Do I have to do a 90 Days Reporting. Just leave on the 1st May without reporting ?

    2. I can do a 90 Days Reporting 15 days earlier before I leave on the 1st May.

    Your advice is much appreciated.

    Thanking you all in advance.

Only doc. I had to show was the work permit. Developer handled it all, I had no interaction with the land office myself, I paid the money to the developer and got the chanote from developer, never visited the land office myself. This was in Sattahip in about 2010. Maybe rules have changed since.

Some years ago, I visited the Land Department at CW (Bangkok) to make inquiries on this matter. Only foreigners who have "Permanent Resident" (PR) in Thailand are allowed to buy a condo in Thailand "Without Making A Bank Transfer From Abroad". BTW, are you a PR ? If not, I am very much surprised how you could get the "Chanote". Please take note. Khap Phom.

  5. All these years I have been using 800K in Savings Account for Retirement Extension.

This coming year, I am thinking of putting the 800K in a Fixed Deposit Account for one year.

Can I use this Fixed Account to renew the Retirement Extension in Cheang Wattana ?

The next question is this :

    1. Assuming my Fixed Deposit has not matured, can I apply ?

    2. Have I got to get a letter from the bank for this purpose when applying ?

    3. Will the bank allow me to update a Fixed Deposit on the same day ?

Your kind advice is much appreciated.

Thanking you all in advance. Khap Khun Khap.

  6. I have shifted from my old condo to my new condo last month.

I have bought this condo and I also got my Chanote (Title Deed).

I have also changed my Yellow Book with this new address.

The new address is now on my New Address.

Do I need to inform Immigration on this address change which I not done.

I will be going to CW to renew my Extension of Stay this July.

Have I to fill up a form to inform my change of address ?

If I fail to do so, will I have to pay a fine.

Your kind advice will be much appreciated.

    Thanking you all in advance.

  7. I intend to leave Thailand at 89 Days before my 90 Days reporting.

I arrived in Thailand on Feb 26th and intend to fly out on the 25th May.

It means the total days in Thailand will 89 Days.

And by leaving on 25th May will be 89 Days.

Do I need to do the 90 Days Reporting if I leave Thailand at 89 Days ?

I am worried about this. Please kindly advise.

Your kind advice is much appreciated.

    Thanking you all in advance.

  8. At present I own a condo and have a Yellow Book (Tambian Bian).

In the near future I intend to sell of this condo and then buy a new

condo, which is nearby and also under the same District Office which

    issued my present Yellow Book.

The question I would like to ask is this.

Can I transfer my name and full particulars of the new condo to this same

    District Yellow Book ?

Or have I to apply for a new one again ?

Your kind advice is much appreciated.

    Thanking you all in advance.

  9. I am at present on Extension of Stay base on 800,000 Baht in the bank.

This is my 4th year of Extension of Stay.

I have two questions to ask.

    First question.

Assuming that in the near future, I will buy a condo costing more than six million baht.

Do I still need to put in the 800,000 Bt in the bank ?

    Second question.

Will it help to get a Permanent Resident by investing on that condo ?

Your kind advice is much appreciated.

    Thanking you all in advance.

  10. I have successfully downloaded the Free Windows 10 Home Edition from my present Windows 8.1 from Internet.

I have two questions to ask. What happens if my Windows 10 crashes or get corrupted ?

    1. Can I recover back the Free downloaded Windows again ?

    2. Can I recover my original Windows 8.1 from my Windows 8.1 disk.

My PC had no Operating System. I bought this Genuine copy of Windows 8.1 and successfully installed

    in my PC.

If my free Windows 10 got crashed or corrupted by virus attack and so on.

What is the best option I must do. Please kindly advice. Much appreciated.

    Thanking you all in advance.

  11. First thing first. I have already bought a condo five years ago. As usual the money fully paid

was sent from overseas as required.

Now I have the intention of selling this condo to buy a new condo in the near future.

The big question is this :

Can I use the money from the sale of my first condo as Money transferred from overseas.

Or i have to transfer again the full amount for the new condo.

Meaning the money sold from my first condo can be considered as Money transferred from overseas

to purchase my second new condo. Is this possible ?

Please kindly advise. Thanking you all in advance. Much appreciated.

  12. My Retirement Visa will expire on the 7th August 2014. Is it true that I can only renew it one month earlier ?

Can I renew it on the 7th July ? . The reason is that I may have to leave Thailand much earlier on

urgent matters. I may have to leave on the 8th or 9th July. I have a multiple Re-Entry Permit.

Your kind advice is much appreciated. Thanking you all in advance.

  13. Assuming my actual 90 days Reporting is due on 26th August.

That is exactly 90 days of stay in Thailand. Calculated according

to days and not in months.

I come to understand that I could report 14 days earlier.

If that is true, then could I report on the 15th August ?

I want to report as early as possible, as I have to attend to some

    urgent matters.

Therefore is 15th August the right time or any other date to

comply with the 14 days in advance.

Your kind advice is much appreciated and thanking you all in advance.

  14. Retirement extension

    My suggestion on Retirement Visa.

My uncle has bought a condo in Bangkok costing more than

    Four Million Baht in cash.

Why must he put in 800,000 Baht in a bank.

He should be waived on that condition.

Immigration should be more understanding and practical.

Or he need to put in a lesser amount.

Do away with the 3 months money in the bank seasoning.

Not practical. It makes life so miserable.

    My personal suggestion. Thank you.
