  1. I'm glad I never gave up on this bike.... And to have felt the pull on it, after many months of frustration was a amazing experience haha... I'm far from done with this bike.... Still have not taken back in the road.... And did the research on the plug cut - cut plug speak plug test... Weather not good today here but will do it soon thanks... Been waiting for these fancy MSlaz 150s to race.... You don't know how many times I had to let these Wave100s go past me coz my bike was that poked... And wish I new how to send pics on here...I have the green and orange one... Similar colours to some Sp.... And noticed my back end of the bike is raised.... I want to keep it like that as it looks better in my eyes and I'm not going to be touching the road with my knees when corning...... I know it makes Ur back end lighter and can cause accident.....

  2. Thanks.... Now bike been getting worse on running out of petrol so I stripped the carb and it's a PE30 .... I think mine was a 28.... Anyway there was copper wire threaded threw the hole of my main jet 142..... So  I pulled it out not knowing it was there to make the hole smaller... Assembled carb with out copper wire and cleaned my tank tap again.... Was full of shit, but my fuel filter clean... Anyway bike could not run properly at all and new straight away what was the problem.... Found an old TV decoder and used it's power cord for my copper.... Started first time... Have not taken it out on the road yet... And will look up this plug check you were talking about..... Shit I love 2strokes hahaha, 5555555.....

Merry Christmas guys.... Finally took my bike to the machanic and we played around with the carb..... First we swopped jets around from other cars he had lying around and yes we got abit closer, but I was not happy, I wanted 13000rpms?.... So we put a NSR150 muffler on that had been gutted and yes there was improvement but was still not happy.... Put another carb on and much better, but still was not happy..... So fiddled with jets and now I have a screaming 2 stroke lol.... Actually scared of it.... I recently snapped my bolt that holds my tank on, so it feels like it will blow off if I go to fast haha.... Not sure what carb we used as he had plenty lying around but do know the slide is more narrow and longer to my standard carb..... I can only think coz I changed my piston and cylinder that was not standard size, pretty sure it was 2 over size.... And thanks guys for all your input.... What a excellent forum this is.....

  4. Got some hope today..... When doing some house hunting, I came across a machanic that was working on a NSR150..... So end of month will take it there.... Want him to gut my exhaust or let me just fit another one on quick.... So ya let's see..... Let him swop parts around and get this beast running to its full potential.....

  5. Hey Neal.... Bike more like a bee trying to sting when at 6000 rpm ting ting ting ting....

I did take off muffler awhile ago and since then I've replaced the Cylinder and piston..... Wish I could open this exhaust up and gut it.... I have this picture of a pool of oil lying at the belly of it.... And when I pull clutch in revs drop....

Morning guys.... Update on bike.... I cut opened my cdi and no cracks or loose soldier on the board.... Looks pretty clean to me.... I read somewhere, that a guy changed his main jet to bigger I think and his problem went away.... Another thing I wanted to mention, I did the spark strength test and got a shocking experience coz I was not holding that rubber cap on the lead... But when I got to see the spark come out, it looked strong.... Now when I put my new plug B9es that spark did not look strong.... Thai machanic fitted this plug..... And yes every gear is pretty much limiting at 6000 rpm...... 100km max

  8. 60baht oil haha.... Autolube pump.... And I set it to book spec I think hahaha..... No the marking lining up with the notch when throttle is fully open..... Now let just say it is my cdi causing bike to ride like shit... Surely that would cause  uneven mix of fuel and 2stroke oil.... Leading to my exhaust dripping oil out.... I'm no machanic here, it's just how I picture it..... And yes I did think it was that too..... Firstly my head has been eaten from lack of antifreeze, so I replaced that with good used one....

Update on bike..... Collected it, only cost me 100baht... Running OK in 1st gear, wish I could get it to full power band.... And max speed 100km woohoo fastest I've been on this bike.... Rest of the gears max revs is 7000rpm... And wanted to say when holding the throttle only half open it does not perform well at all... When in low rpm and I open the throttle full it actually feels like a normal bike, untill they get past 5000rpm then it starts to jerk and splutter.... So tomorrow it's fiddling time again.... And thanks guys for all your info you have been giving out here....

Sounds like electrics to me. CDI. Servo. These bikes (unlike the mechanical KRR Kawasaki) need a battery and decent charging to make sure the servo works as it should. I would substitute known good CDI and servo/motor in that order. Could even be something as simple as poor wiring between the above components.

Which model NSR150RR  do you have? the older model with the 2 round headlights or the later one with the same lights as the 150SP

I believe the older 150RRs have 2 CDI's with one of them for the servo/rc valves

This is the newer version which you will find under the seat

  11. Hahaha yes there is alot of things going on in these bikes.... OK I know what you talking about there... Kine has the same... Now to find one on Facebook and hopefully it's the problem... But I will first check all the other details the guys suggested... If no luck I will find a good working one.... All I wanted was a fast little 2 stroke to play with while living here in Aonang Krabi.... I'm no machanic but am I Automotive machinist by trade.... Did my first piston and ring change with this bike lol... Even had the rings upside down.... Should of just got a 4 stroke people tell me... But I have faith in this little beast... I know there is a beast inside there ?
