  1. yes you can. work permit is only required for self service on line payments. if you go to the bank yourself, no need for work permit to send money out of thailand. that is quite srict, but the solution is simple- to send the money to thailand, than from thailand to singapore. maybe you should consider another brokerage like INTERNATIONAL BROKERS who are more flexible. singapore is becoming too strict while it is full of scammers and crooks.
  2. at last someone makes sense. the right way to go is the mexican way. mexico NEVER locked down anything, airports allways stayed 100% open. accept the death toll and save the economy= more lives !!
  3. yes i was transiting without entering germany, just two hours stop over. they changed the rule just two days before my flight. earlier there was no need for PCR test for anyone transiting via germany. so there was no way i could know about it. best place to check for airport rules is IATA website.
  4. you should consider also the requirements in any airport you might transit threw. for example, if you transit via germany, the requirement there might be PCR test 48 hours before departure. so the airline might not allow you boarding the flight, if you have only a test done 72 hours before the flight to thailand. i lost a ticket this way. came to the airport with all documents ready, than one bicth (from the airport security) came and told me that no, the PCR test was done too early...for germany airport transit !!!
  5. well, at least she made it back alive, that is allready something these days.
  6. THE only way for Thailand to go ahead is the mexican way. mexico never closed anything, no lockdowns, no PCR and NO QUARANTINE for visitors, all airport and all businesses 100% OPEN. yes, there will be a death toll to pay, but it's worth it.
  7. once i was sitting in a cafe, daytime, and there were two attractive woman besides me. we talked and one of them found me also attractive and gave me her email. she asked if we could go to my hotel so i assumed she is a working girl but did not want to do it in the middle of the day. i had to leave thailand so we exchanged emails and when i came back we arranged a meeting. she came with a friend in a brand new mercedes sports car. i asked where the car from. she said from her husband. i asked :: "so you are married?" she she said yes, very relaxed, and said that her husband was a rich farang. wierd. we drunk coffee but no more because i never do married woman. i never contacted her again but saw her on t.v. once...
  8. investment in real estate in thailand has not given nice returns over the past 10 years. the ROI might be even negative in hard currency like USD or EUR.
  9. you can open a watsapp account on a prepaid phone no., this way stay annonymus. illegally, you can use other person identity to register a phone no. i think that was the case when a thai elderly was sentenced to few years in jail for posting anti monarchy messages. to his defance he claimed that he never used a smartphone and does not even know how to send SMS.
  10. well it is just starting mate, just starting unfortunately. it is happaning right now. double of infections every two weeks. hospitals starts filing up, some announced they will not get new patients. governments will not admit it because it is scary indeed, but vaccines do not really work. just like we can see in thailand and the U.S. right now.
  11. YOU should consult this mattar first with your employer. you better inform them about your situation and see if they approve it. in case of legal dispute (for example, the U.K. demanding taxes from you, or you suing for injury while working) it is your employer who will be sued, and than might sue you for breaching your contract and working from the U.K. while your contract is in thailand.
  12. Israel had ZERO infections and covid deaths just 2-3 months ago, after a succesfull Pfizer vaccination campain. than israel opened everything and lifted all restrictions. now israel has one of the highest infection rates in the world. today 5400 new cases were recorded. it is like 150,000 daily in USA. conclusion: THE VACCINE DOES NOT WORK !! yes, hard to admit, but true : VACCINES ARE NOT WORKING !!!
  13. allow me to remind to you that it is not allowed to mention the words "military state" or "dictatorship" on aseannow, and just mentioning those words might place you in a black list. seriously. i once SMS in thailand to a friend a message that mentioned the word PVSSY more than 20 times. i wanted to see what will happan. my phone was blocked for 30 days from sending messages.
  14. one application which is hard to track is SIGNAL than there is TOR for mobile, like free VPN that makes it hard to track your location.
  15. oh ho...so now we will be spied on also in private chat rooms? few journalists got arrested / killed just because things they said on private chat rooms (not in thailand). What should worry us in thailand is not so much politics but dirty cops who might use this software to rob and even kidnap. remember the story of the taiwanese businessman who was kidnapped and tortured with the help of few policeman, with and without uniforms? later, i must say, they were all arrested by the good cops. so now with more spying tech they will have more power...the good and the bad !!
  16. Pattaya is a crime city from head to toe, City that thrived on selling poor woman's vaginas, attracting all sorts of low life shady sexpats from all dark corners of the planet, and the faster and harder it will die - the better !!!
  17. According to reports on thai media, they checked all cameras of all cars and bikes close to the crime place and time, and interogated each one of them. the suspect in custody acted suspiciously and had bruises on his body. after a quick and efficient interrogation, he confessed to the crime. i am only so happy that i did not ride any bike on that road and that time.
  18. "they allways get the same man"...i think they have the same man for this cases, he pose for the camera as the captured criminal and than they release him until the next case. 2-3 yrs later.
  19. 5000 USD to kill a diplomat on u.s. soil ? that is dirt cheap. those chinos are killing the market !!
  20. this description might fit half the 27 thai man in phuket who own bikes. the rest, who do not own mikes, were also thai boxing champions who got into drugs, but could not afford a bike because they are not the sons of head village.
  21. i once saw a thai policeman smack a "suspect" in hua hin main bar road, he was without uniform, and he just smacked him over and over , dozens of times. when i approached to see what is going on, he just said :"i am police". so what would they do to suspects behind closed doors?
