the reason for this saudi move is supporting USA in it's alliance against Iran and China. but the story of the stolen blue diamond is an amazing one that did not get the right attention. anyone who thinks about doing serious business in thailand should study this story carefully, and reach his conclusions. simply unbelievable from begining to end, with the highest level of childish corruption that can be found only in early middle ages legends.

it all depands on your net worth. i think an expat who does not own a business / job in thailand, should bring / invest in thailand no more than 5-10% of his net worth. that is because the rules and regulations here are not clear and everchanging, so in case you get in unpredictable troubles (i was once threatened with ARREST by immigration in bangkok airport just because i could not remember on which airline i came to thailand !!!) you can pack all quickly and leave.

MOST traders on lazada are honest, but there are few rotten apples that destroy for all the others. the problem lies with lazada management - they do not punish or kick out the crooks. that is why you can find a fake iphone12 , fully priced, besides a genuine one. no warning or note in the fake one that it is fake. when you discover it is too late and you will lose either a lot of time , trying to get your money back, or your time and money.

Effective January 22nd, travelers with a vaccination or recovery certificate no longer need a pre-travel PCR or antigen test. Unvaccinated people will still be required to present a pre-travel test but will no longer need to get a test after arriving in Switzerland. -

Moldova no longer requires fully vaccinated travelers to present a pre-travel test. People can now travel to Moldova without having to self-isolate if they have one of the following: a vaccination certificate showing they are fully vaccinated, a PCR test within 72 hours before departure, an antigen test within 48 hours before departure, a COVID-19 antibodies certificate (valid for 90 days), or a medical certificate attesting they had COVID-19 in the previous 6 months. -
do you think that in february they will change the sandbox rules, and reduce the PCR test to only 1 (instead of 1 now)? i am about to file another PASS application but not sure if to do it now or wait to 1 february, maybe that will be easier.

COVID-19 causes closure of loss-ridden major insurance company
SCOTT FITZGERSLD replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
interesting to know how many were tested positive and what was the ratio between paid customers and positive found customers. if , say, only 3% were found positive, as the official statistics are, than the company can still make money. -

absolutely no reason at all to own a car in a city like bangkok. there are cheap taxis everywhere and with MRT you can get anywhere FAST. note that i did not say cheap, i said fast, but it will be also cheaper to use the public transport and taxis. we once calculated that even is you spend 150 baht on taxis daily, it will be cheaper ,annualy, than owning a car, and you will even save time on park searching.

Is Thailand rushing to categorize COVID-19 an endemic disease?
SCOTT FITZGERSLD replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
he is right. thailand is a leading nation in so many fields, surely they know what they are doing with this covid. many even argue that cobid-19 was never a pandemic to begin with, just another flu, and the whole set up was planned years ahead with the vaccines and world hysteria. -
i guess they like it that way. this really came to my mind after my 2 failed attempts to apply for the THAILAND PASS and pay for pcr IN PSAS . I DID NOT EVEN GET A REJECTION reply, they just ignored me, even that i booked a flight and a hotel with that PASS application. so if they truly cared about tourism and jobs- they would propably imporve it, since they did not do anything to improve despite the many complaints, and even made it worst by adding that stupid PSAS site - than they propably do not care about their own people and economy.
