the eggs need to be realy fresh, not from the supper market or out of the fridge. If the eggs are a few days old the white tends to get thinner so it dosen't hold together when you poach them. The water needs to be boiling .

I've run MSE and found no problems also ran the defragmenter last week and that didn't cure the problem. I'm wondering if its a problem with the monitor although once I get a display its OK.

I have a problem with my video display when booting up my computer in the morning. The computer is booting up as I get the welcome tone but no display. I have to press the reboot button several times for the display to come up. Sometime when rebooting I get the motherboard logo and the XP logo but then no welcome screen.

Also when it come to shutting down it lake about 5 minutes form when I press the turn off button till the computer switches off.

Any ideas what the problem is.

Can new credit cards, debit cards From USA banks or Credit unions be sent to Thailand. If so how do you activate them, since 1-800 number do not work oversea

I've phoned 0800 numbers in the UK using Skype, and according to their rates you can call toll free numbers in the USA free of charge.

I opened an account with Smile Internet bank before I came to Thailand. After I'd got a permanent address I informed them of the change and there's been no problems.

I've just started using FireFox3.5 and some web pages require Flash Player. I have Flash Player 10 installed but its not working in FireFox pages that require it still say I need to download Flash Player 9 or above.

Can anyone tell me how to get Flash Player running with FireFox

Type in your URL bar "about:plugins" and check which Flash version is reported

When installing Flash, make sure all browsers are completely closed (check your active running processes for firefox.exe).

Its might be necessary to uninstall the old Flash version first before installing the new version

It seems there was a conflict with an older version of flash player (8.4) that the flash uninstaller wasn't removing. So I just deleted the file and reinstalled flash 10.

I can now have my bacon sandwich knowing every thing is working.

I've just done my 90 day report which I always do by post to Bangkok. The note below was pinned to the returned form. To me it looks like you can no longer use the postal service at Suan Plu unless you live in Bangkok and you have to report to your local Immigration office. I know I have to go to Tak for my visa extension now, but I thought Bangkok was where posted 90 day reports were sent.

I'd like to find some information about learning to drive in Thailand. I do not hold a UK license but Is possible to have lessons take a driving test, if there is one, and get a Thai driving license. Are there any restriction or special regulations for farangs.

I have been here for nearly 2 years on a non immigrant O visa + extension Thai wife basis.

Any advise would helpful.
