I have to agree with the OP, my last two marriage extensions have both been problematic, some nit-picking requirement not met 100% correctly, but either way it didn't require a second visit to Imm. I am going retirement next year as long as my finances hold up.

I have been to 3 different locations for all my jabs, hospital, Big C and another hospital, and the paperwork and scrabbling about on a computer by the nurses/clerks is beyond belief. It takes forever because 1) we are farangs and 2) every different location appears to complicate matters. I had sinovarm, AZ and AZ, so what the hell, go back in 3 months for more fun and games.

I didn't have a problem with online banking using my keypad, until I tried to use mobile banking and got some answers to all their security questions wrong, and then eventually getting locked out from both systems - online /mobile. Getting around that meant I had to use the mobile app to get a digital secure key to access online banking. No other way, forget the keypad.

Update: no letter in the post from HSBC, which means the guy who promised it would come was just paying me lip service. Not impressed by that one bit. So I had a friend come and help me, who kept me on a tight leash when we phoned the bank. We actually got through pretty quickly, got asked a ton of questions, gave answers as best I could, and eventually got access to my account. It probably took one hour plus on the phone with this very helpful guy thank God. Apparently having the mobile app is essential to have access to online banking. Not impressed by that either.

It's fair to say that what we as humans do to feed ourselves is beyond gruesome, killing all sorts of creatures, animals, fish, birds and insects. Come to Thailand and see what they do here. I have lost two pet dogs here because they chased chickens and were shot dead. How can you place a value on an animal, a pet, or farmyard poultry when people have that mentality. Shoot someone else's pet!

I know killing a calf a few months old is not nice, but veal is definitely very nice. I would pay through the nose for it.

I got the email from the new system with their ridiculous password, have to be careful not to copy the semi-colon when pasting it into their link. Got in and applied but I had already applied on the old online system, so anyway nothing happened on the new system - pending plus I noticed on the TM47 form they give you to download that my departure card number was missing. Anyways today I looked at both systems, pending on the new and approved on the old. So who knows, it's a bit like asking why do these bleeding cyclists have to talk so loud when they go past my house, you know the ones in all the gear and fancy bikes.
