Maybe you should give a budget span, w and the living and land surface you expect. It would make the question clearer.
If you don't care for the price, you can get really good deals for around US$ 1million with a James Bond style pool property, direct beachfront, in the Hua Hin area.
Hua Hin is far from James Bond style location
More like Robert De Niro's drunk uncle

It can. Find another way...
In addition, you missed their 10 Mbps promo.
10 Mbps over seven days 214 baht
10 Mbps over thirty days 588.50 baht
But you had to subscribe by the 30th of April.
I know I missed the promo. But other than downloading larger files I don't think there would be improvement.
I'm really surprised how fast and responsive it is.
I tried VPN for torrent but still doesn't work. Quite possible the VPN doesn't allow torrents too.

Wow! How original. Never seen anyone write that before.
Sure you have. It is the standard 'punishment' in LOS when someone uses tools such machete, gun, knife against another human being.

That, however, is quite an edge to have. Single mid aged men would be the target group, but in recent times I've noticed IT nerds are quite in demand in the West by the fairer sex (due to high income), so not so many singles left.
yep, there are super models in Silicon Valley hunting for some nerd love

Tomas and Michal are Czech AFAIK. They are the sort of startup founders BOI is trying to target. A rarity here. Then there might be some Luek Kruengs or overseas educated Thais who could have what it takes, but they won't be needing visas as the are Thai.
Started by founders from Czech Republic in Hong Kong - https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/hotelquickly
So it is Czech/HK startup. They have headquarters in Bangkok. Though the company was sold several years ago.

In your list HotelQuickly is sort of in that business, last minute hotel deals. Thailand being a tourism hub is good for that.
HotelQuickly was founded in December 2012 by Tomas Laboutka (CEO), Christian Mischler (COO & CMO), Michal Juhas (CTO), Mario Peng (CFO), and Raphael Cohen
Hmm, very Thai sounding names

Another successful Thai startup is https://flowaccount.com/en/about-us
All of these copied websites/systems already invented in the West and translated it into Thai.

You obviously have no idea.
Pretty much every start-up STARTED with just couple of people (often in a garage). For example such lousy companies as Apple, Google, Microsoft.
According to you they should start with 300 employees and 1500sq meters offices, right?

Taking innocent people who were hired for marketing to court - check.
Taking responsibility for not enforcing correct standards - huh?

That sounds great. Good job.
When they gonna sue them for additional 100M per piece? Like those from "The Beach"

I have 6Mbps package with True and tethering to laptop.
The speed and ping are great. But if I try to download anything from torrent it doesn't work - limited to 1kbps.
Any idea how to fix that? I tried VPN but no help.
-
A condo where I stay for couple of weeks doesn't have wifi so I bought 6Mbps from True.
I didn't expect much, but it is as good as any other connection I had before in Thailand. Only torrent download doesn't work.

To illustrate your point, here are a couple of current day Thai restaurant window menus from Paris. A plate of vegetarian fried rice in the first restaurant costing 6.50 Euros + 10% tax + 15% tip, for a total of 8.125 Euros (or 317 baht), can commonly be found in Thailand for as little as 35-40 baht or about one tenth of the Paris price.
You compare prices Paris vs Isaan? I haven't seen 40 THB fried rice in a proper restaurant in Bangkok.
Not to mention the Paris portion is likely twice as big, and from significantly better ingredients.

What is stopping you applying for PR or even citizenship ??
You must be working 5 years for a Thai company to be able to.
No F way I want to find a job in Thailand.

What is this stupidity?
People (even hired for marketing purposes) are not those who should investigate whether a product is correctly licensed and up to the standard.
100% responsibility should be on the company who sell it, and 100% responsibility to enforce/investigate is on the government office
A company hires your to do marketing and you should go through chemistry crash course and setup lab in your condo to make sure the product is okay???

The reasons people go 3rd world countries are usually - great weather, significantly cheaper living expenses
Thailand over the pas 5 years become pretty much more expensive than my European home country. Of course you can live cheap, but that's homeless like lifestyle.
So for me it is losing its charm, because I can't afford $8000 a month ocean view villa and do not want to pay xxx% more for some daily use products. On top of the annoying visa situation Vietnam looks better by the day.

Priorities and impossible to think about the next weeks/years
All Thai friends have better phone than I have, all of them go to quite expensive restaurants more often than I.
Even though I could afford it, and they live paycheck to paycheck. Eating instant noodles the last week before salary.

Hackers are often world class in what they do, I don't think there is even 0.001% of getting on this level.
By cyber crime they probably think if some innocent person posts on FB truth which they don't like.

Agree... paid 130 THB with Grab for what would be 70 THB with normal taxi.... Thailand managed to destroy another great invention

I see there is a sticky thread, but ehm 35 pages + I think our circumstances are bit unusual then most from what I've read.
I'm European, my gf a Thai. We would like to go for a short holiday to OZ, only about 2-4 weeks.
We would like to apply for my gf's visa directly, not with the FVS agency. But I want to ask if there is any chance to get the visa.
The main issue: my gf doesn't a job or income which she can prove.
I have an online business, she helps me out and we travel non-stop for almost 2 years. The past 12 months we spent summer in Europe and the rest in about 6 countries in Asia, including Singapore.
We keep track of what money she earns but nothing goes to Thai bank account due to the criminal overseas ATM withdrawal charges.
Is there a possibility of getting OZ tourist visa considering above?
Was told bankruptcy means government worker loses job?

The question is - for what she spent 3 million thb if she has nothing to show for it?
