Maybe you should give a budget span, w and the living and land surface you expect. It would make the question clearer.

If you don't care for the price, you can get really good deals for around US$ 1million with a James Bond style pool property, direct beachfront,  in the Hua Hin area.

Hua Hin is far from James Bond style location

More like Robert De Niro's drunk uncle :partytime2:

    It can. Find another way...

In addition, you missed their 10 Mbps promo.

10 Mbps over seven days 214 baht

10 Mbps over thirty days 588.50 baht

But you had to subscribe by the 30th of April.

I know I missed the promo. But other than downloading larger files I don't think there would be improvement.

I'm really surprised how fast and responsive it is.

I tried VPN for torrent but still doesn't work. Quite possible the VPN doesn't allow torrents too.

Tomas and Michal are Czech AFAIK. They are the sort of startup founders BOI is trying to target. A rarity here. Then there might be some Luek Kruengs or overseas educated Thais who could have what it takes, but they won't be needing visas as the are Thai.

Started by founders from Czech Republic in Hong Kong - https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/hotelquickly

So it is Czech/HK startup. They have headquarters in Bangkok. Though the company was sold several years ago.

  4. A condo where I stay for couple of weeks doesn't have wifi so I bought 6Mbps from True.

I didn't expect much, but it is as good as any other connection I had before in Thailand. Only torrent download doesn't work.

To illustrate your point, here are a couple of current day Thai restaurant window menus from Paris. A plate of vegetarian fried rice in the first restaurant costing 6.50 Euros + 10% tax + 15% tip, for a total of 8.125 Euros (or 317 baht), can commonly be found in Thailand for as little as 35-40 baht or about one tenth of the Paris price.

You compare prices Paris vs Isaan? I haven't seen 40 THB fried rice in a proper restaurant in Bangkok.

Not to mention the Paris portion is likely twice as big, and from significantly better ingredients.

  6. What is this stupidity?

People (even hired for marketing purposes) are not those who should investigate whether a product is correctly licensed and up to the standard.

100% responsibility should be on the company who sell it, and 100% responsibility to enforce/investigate is on the government office

A company hires your to do marketing and you should go through chemistry crash course and setup lab in your condo to make sure the product is okay???

  7. I see there is a sticky thread, but ehm 35 pages + I think our circumstances are bit unusual then most from what I've read.

I'm European, my gf a Thai. We would like to go for a short holiday to OZ, only about 2-4 weeks.

We would like to apply for my gf's visa directly, not with the FVS agency. But I want to ask if there is any chance to get the visa.

The main issue: my gf doesn't a job or income which she can prove.

I have an online business, she helps me out and we travel non-stop for almost 2 years. The past 12 months we spent summer in Europe and the rest in about 6 countries in Asia, including Singapore.

We keep track of what money she earns but nothing goes to Thai bank account due to the criminal overseas ATM withdrawal charges.

Is there a possibility of getting OZ tourist visa considering above?
