  1. I live in a small private house in Phuket.
    The owner is Thai.
In the name of Thai house owner, we could get ID of online TM-30.

    "Accommodation Name" was something like
       Phuket ..... residence
     or
       Phuket ..... home
     or
       Villa ..... Phuket
in Thai language, the name of that housing area.
(Sorry, I do not want to up my real address)

Print out of online TM-30 report was accepted by
Phuket immigration officer in the room 103 at retirement extension.
That print out has no stamp or signature, but accepted without any problem.

If Thai owner allows me to use ID and password,
    it goes so smoothly.

We have discussed about online TM-30 there.

Person living in private house can get ID of online TM-30

in the name of Thai house owner

and can make report from private house via internet.

Print out of online TM-30 is accepted by immigration officer at extension.

  3. I live in Phuket. I know each place might have each local rule.
    But for your reference.
In this Feb., I have done two things at the same time,
transfer stamp from old passport to new one
and 1 year extension of retirement.

In addition with regular document of retirement 1 year,
    I had to prepare,
    (1) embassy letter about issuing new passport.
    (2) application form to transfer stamp to new passport.

I received (1) form embassy of my home country in Thai with new passport.

About (2), I used this form.
    http://www.phuketimmigration.go.th/downloads/download/img050.jpg
This might be Phuket local form.
Person in other area should use this, maybe.
    https://www.immigration.go.th/download/1486548856727.doc

With these documents, I went into the room for retirement in Pluket immigration.
Two things have done at the same time, THB 1900. only.

After that, only with new passport, I could get re-entry permit.
    Single THB 1000. only.

“Copy of ATM card (from US bank)”?

    Why?

Copy of ATM card is required in pension method for many years.

Basic requirement is that the foreigner can have enough cash whenever necessary here in Thai. Pension will be sent to the bank account in her/his home country. So Thai officer want to confirm that the foreigner can withdraw cash here in Thai with international ATM card.
Only front side will be required. Back side with signature and security code will not be required.

By the way, if it is THB 800,000./ 400,000. in Thai bank method, the foreigner can withdraw cash with passport and passbook. Of course, ATM card can be used. But it is not required to show it.

  5. Attached is a paper I received form Phuket immigration volunteer in the year 2012. It is very old and there are several changes. But it still gives us some advice.
For normal retirement extension, only one copy is required.
For conversion from tourist to retirement, two copies and TM-86 are required.
(I believe "TN86" is a mistype. It must be TM-86.)

Because there are several changes, I think you should do.

    1) Please check latest requirement for normal retirement extension. You can get enough information from this forum.

    2) Please contact to Phuket immigration volunteer. “Is it possible to convert tourist to retirement here in Phuket? If yes, how many copies, additional TM form?”

(Several years ago, certainly it was yes. But I am not sure for now.)

    3) If yes, please convert. At that time, Please confirm when you should visit immigration again for extension. If no, go somewhere out of Thai to get new Non-OA visa or Bangkok for conversion.

    4) Finally please make normal retirement extension. After that, just like me, keep doing extension every year.

I am doing my retirement extension all by myself without agent. If you can convert just with two copies and additional TM form, you will not need agent.

  6. My words are not enough.

    > In most place within Thai, You can extend your Non-O "Thai wife"

    > if you can satisfy requirements.

    This mean

In most place within Thai, you can extend your Non-O "Thai Wife"

as "Retirement" if you can satisfy requirements.

No more Visa run after extension would be a advantage.

  7. I am in Thai with extension of retirement.

In most place within Thai, You can extend your Non-O "Thai wife" if you can satisfy requirements.
If you already have Non-O visa, I personally feel,

    Disadvantage of retirement
      Can not apply work permit
      Higher financial requirement

    Advantage of retirement
Very much easier paper work for extension
Only 2 days for extension in my place
(Only 1 day in some place ?)
(2 or 3 month for Thai wife extension, mostly)
Can still live in Thai after divorce

  8. I am not so sure. But if that immigration officer said " You have to do at

airport ", that should mean you have to show this re-entry permit at your

    re-entry to airport officer.

On TM-6 arrival card, you should fill up your reentry permit No. of

    " 2521/61 " in " Visa No. " filed.

Also please check your new permission to stay is till  " 27 JUN 2019 ".

  9. First, I have to write that my last post in this thread was a kind of my

    misunderstanding.

    > Is this what you want ?

In any way, about 90 days online.

Just recently, I made online report and it was approved.

And then, I found that " passport number, Date of birth and nationality"

    is not working well. MeToo.

This seems to be a bug in "Nationality"  selection tab.

I followed the instruction in this page.

    https://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/812263-online-90-day-reporting-available-from-april-1st/?page=262

I had to do some strange operation and could get list of my history.

If you still have the problem, please try that method.

I hope this bug will be fixed soon.

After clicking save, the form disappeared and it brought me to the main page where I need to fill in user name and password.

Phuket local site for online TM-30 address registration was closed.
    http://www.phuketimmigration.go.th/notify/
This site was build because BKK head quarter site has been down for so long. But now BKK site came back. Phuket site was closed and we have to use BKK site.
    https://extranet.immigration.go.th/fn24online/

By the way, if you are to get ID of BKK head quarter site, you will go into get  ID page, fill up and click save icon.
If your data is all right, message “ID and initial password will be sent to you by e-mail” in Thai language will pop up. If your data is not all right, error message in Thai language will pop up.
I am not so sure of the situation. But there is a possibility that you are using pop up blocker. Please check.

Not all, but some offices are adding this new requirement.

So I prepared these and the officer just received these. Extension is done and I paid THB 1900 only.

There were some discussions in Phuket local form. Some people wrote “I was not required”.

It seems to be fuzzy. Better than sorry. I will prepare these again on next time.

One of discussion in Phuket is page 30 to 31 of

  12. I live in Phuket for several years with extension of retirement 1 year.

I recommend you to read this.

When I asked several years ago, the answer was form 30 days before, not 45 days. I am not sure how flexible they are in case you already have flight ticket.

Apply a certain day and receive on the next working day at 13:00 (actually around 12:50).

Everybody have to visit office twice.

Make sure you get reentry permit.

You would be able to get reentry permit on the afternoon of the receiving day.

  13. I am not UK citizen. I am an Asian. I extended 1 year retirement in Phuket town immigration on Feb. this year by money in Thai bank method. I will try to answer your questions as much as I can.

First, I recommend you to read this site.

    http://piv-phuket.com/latest-information/

    > Here you will find all the latest information regarding Phuket Immigration

    Q1. When should you go?

I believe you got 90 days permission to stay at your entry. You should go to immigration during the period between 30 days before and on the last date of your permission.

This date is not "Enter before" date on your original VISA.

    Q2. Documents?

    1. Cash THB 1900.-

    2. TM-7 Application form with one face photo.

Face photo should be white background and without glass.

Please add you e-mail address and phone number on TM-7 even though there is no field for these.

Print this on one A4 paper. (Use both side of a paper.)

         http://www.phuketimmigration.go.th/extension-1-year-visa/download-attachment/463

    3. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR

PERMIT OF TEMPORARY STAY IN THE KINGDOM OF THAILAND

You can have this form at writing desk in front of room 103.

    4. Passport with TM-6 departure card and receipt of TM-30 address registration

    5. Copy of passport

Info page, original VISA, entry stamp and TM-6

Extension and Re-entry page, only if you have these

(At the first extension, you do not have)

    6. Receipt of TM-47 90 days notification, only if you are in Thai for more than 90 days.

(At the first extension, you are in Thai less than 90 days)

    7. Financial documents, pension or Thai bank

         For Thai bank method

           Bank passbook and its copy

Bank letter for the account; account name, number and latest amount

Bank print out of amount for last 6 month

(Sorry, I do not know about pension)

    8. Hand draw map of the location of your house

(This is only for Phuket, maybe)

    9. Photo of you in front of your house with the house number visible

(This is only for Phuket, maybe)

    Q3 Re-entry permit

You will apply extension in room 103 and receive on the next working day at 13:00. Even though application is done before 12:00, you have to come again on the next day.

After that, you have to make photocopy and apply re-entry permit in room 101. Room 103 is for extension only. If not too many people there, you will get re-entry permit on that afternoon.

This is TM-8 Re-entry application form.

    https://www.immigration.go.th/download/1486547955788.pdf

    Q4 Passport page

    I can not answer.

I can get new passport form the embassy of my home country in Bangkok. So to transfer stamp to the new passport and extend at the sometime would be the answer to me.
