    I dont know the pills, but can remember 1 of them was big and very light, like mash mellows, think that one was made by Jannsen or something like that. i have seen the bills so it is true.

    Common drugs eg zantac (ranitidine) are cheaper in los from the chemists than in farangland. however rarer one are much dearer. try www.drugbuyers.com and see if you can have them shipped to thailand. however check out customs laws and dont order any drug that has an abuse potential eg anything with opiatelike content - possible jail time.

    Other options, shop around the chemists, see what prices they can offer. If he has a trip back to farangland scheduled, try to get his gp to give him a big prescription.

    So, we now have the super rock dude bar scum, sorry i mean bar owner, in our street

    I am not against rock but even when there is only 1 customer at the "bar" they have the need to have the music that loud that we cannot watch the TV in the house or even listen to an ipod as the base drowns it out. mor eimportant my 18 month old daughter, my nheavily pregant wife, myself and everyone else that lives in the area can't get to sleep.

    this goes on until about 1am most nights. There are about a dozen houses that are affected by the moron.

    he would probably earn more if we pay him to shut up than he does from the small amount if customers that he gets

    so other than going over with a bat and smashing his speakers into splinters is there anything that can legally be done against noise polluting morons?

    Guys, lottsa heat here. To your credit there is action like informing embassies. Ignore the neighsayers, `nothing will change` - if you believe them we`d still be living in caves. And from the content of their posts.......................

    I am not an expat - I come here for only approx 3 months a year. But I do not want the place ruined by the criminal chav scum. You guys need to ORGANISE - make your voices heard. It does work. In the immortal words of anon who penned Joe Hill;

    Well I thought I would let everyone know I did finally get the cable to my house with Fox News on it. After complaining a little in the office in Phuket town they were happy to run the cable.

    I knew this post would get somewhat political because Fox News tends to be very domestic with its news.

    If `domestic` is a euphemism for crudely biased I would agree.

    I also watch BBC, CNN and Australian News sometimes.

    It's amazing that some of the comments hinting Fox as a far right wing news.

    Its so far right even Hitler would have banned it for extremism :o

    It's the most viewed news network in the USA.

    The left will never watch us but we are watching you for sure.

    I agree 100% that if you seriously want a humane, effective, tried and proven way to solve your problem then use pepper spray on the dog. I have used pepper spray on two occasions when I had problem of a dog trying to attact me any my dog as we walked by and both times were totally effective. Using pepper spray on the problem dog will not only stop the dog in his tracks but also can also can have a very good side benefit since the pepper stays on the dogs coat for some time after it is sprayed. If the owner of the dog, pets or touches the dog not knowing it has been sprayed, the spray residue will get on his hands which because they are tough will not feel the pepper however when he touches his face or any other sensitive part of his body like his privates, the pepper spray residue will again transfer and begin to burn like hel_l. I know because after I had sprayed one of the problem dogs in my neighborhood-I found out later that the owner later that day could not figure out why parts of his body suddenly felt like they were on fire.

    Wondering where can find this fantastic pepper spray stuff. The poison alternative will work but I would give the pepper spray a try first if I could find where to buy it (or make it????).

    Chilli powder + water + water pistol = home made pepper spray?

    Best way is link threads/news articles to farang newsdesks - bad publicity = something done.

    Thanks for that, I fail to see how asking our Embassies to help stop attacks on Farangs is supid or is Redteds contention that we are fair game and should not rock the delicate balance between cultures?

    I think he will find that attacking farang's is illegal in Thailand and as such IS part of the law.

    I have no intention in interfering in Thai ways but the law is the law and it is there for everyone, even guests.

    FYI several Embassies now have warnings especially for the fairer sex and Sweden is considering following suit. I suppose redted considers this as upsetting to his sensibilities as well.

    Why do millions of holiday makers expect Phuket or Thailand to be any different to there own country?

    Tourists with something to offer should be vigilant at all times and maybe things would not happen to theme in such regularity .

    Go moan to your government about scum in your own country and see how far you get, about the same as this country.

    Maximum penalty under the law is death, that's the law as it was written on March 15th( the Ides of March.)

    Assuming you`re not trolling or having a psychotic reaction to psychotropic agents I will answer some of your points.

    No one is sympathetic to the accused. We want to see due process, not mob rule. Your idea of bikinis would make those concerned with this case and justice for the family a laughing stock. I would think the family would find it deeply offensive as well.

    If you really make a difference, supply the news sites of western media with info on this case and similar others.

    But I suspect you dont, and are motivated by self righteousness. Be careful of that high horse, you might just fall off and break something.
