I need a new computer monitor and I came across a wide screen monitor ( can't remember where I saw it ) that you can have two independent different desktop views on its screen from two separate different computers at the same time . Also you only needed one mouse and one keyboard. I don't play games so I don't need any thing high spec. From what I remember the wide screen monitor I saw was not crazy expensive and had a screen size of ( I think ) 34 inches. Any one have a suggestion as to which monitor I saw or a recommendation – Thanks.

I have purchased a Honda 4 stroke petrol brush / weed cutter to cut down tall grass and small bushes on some land.( see photograph D ) The Honda brush cutter is working well , but I’m now looking for some advice .One problem I’m having is finding decent cutter blades that last more than a few hours . So far Ive used some cutter blades purchased off Lazada + some given to me ( see photograph C ) those cutter blades were not that expensive. Those cutter blades shown on the photograph worked fine for a short period of time , but all of them eventually stopped cutting and became useless. I suspect that the problem may be in the fact that those cutter blades were cheap in price.
I’m wondering if paying more money for a better cutter blade would be the answer and the more expensive cutter blades would last longer, or could it be that some how I’m using the wrong type of cutter blade for the job.
With the now worn out and not cutting very well cutter blades , would it be possible to re sharpen those cutter blades and would it be worth the effort.
After now cutting all the tall long grass down , it leaves a bottom stump ( photograph A ) where the long grass is rooted into the ground . The cutting blades ( circular type ) can cut those long grass rooted stumps out of the ground , but its hard work . I’m wondering if theres another easier / better way / cutter blade to deal with removing the long grass rooted stumps.
Along with the long grass that needed cutting theres also some old small lemon trees that need to be removed ( see photograph B ) . Ive tried cutting those small lemon trees at their base , but the circular cutting blades struggles to cut into the lemon tree wood , and the circular cutting blades start to get hot and some smoke appears from the circular cutting blade. I’m wondering if using a different type of circular cutting blade to cut the small lemon trees would be the best option.
Currently all the tall long grass has been successfully cut down , leaving only a lot of tall grass bottom stump areas that need to be removed along with the small lemon trees.
I’m still learning so any advice , suggestions or recommendations very welcome .

Just go into the branch and tell them you want to make a SWIFT transfer to the UK. Be prepared to prove that the funds you want to remit, have been brought into Thailand from overseas, if the remittance amount is over a certain limit. (varies from bank to bank (but shouldn't))
Thanks, I'm only looking at sending small amounts ( 1,000 Baht ) to my UK HSBC bank to keep it active , so may be the SWIFT procedure may not be worth all the trouble for a 1,000 Baht every few months.

Direct SWIFT from my BBL account to the beneficiary's UK account.
Thanks, what did you have to do to make that SWIFT transfer from your Bangkok Bank account to the UK .

As a general rule, you cannot transfer Thai Baht outside of Thailand. If you want to transfer from a Thai bank account, the banks will automatically convert the Baht, into the native currency of the receiving account. THB is a restricted currency, it is not freely convertible, overseas banks are restricted in how much THB they can hold plus the currency is not traded on the international markets, for delivery.
Thanks , so it looks like using a money transfer option ( Wise ) may not be possible , and the only option for me to send small amounts of money from Thailand into my UK HSBC bank account , would be directly from my Bangkok Bank account

Yes, it does work from the BBL phone app, I have used it to send money to a third party's UK bank for a purchase.
Thanks , when you used the Bangkok Bank mobile app to send money from your Bangkok Bank account to the UK , were you asked to sign up / or use a separate money transfer company like ( Wise ) , or was the transfer of money from your Bangkok Bank account all done in house by Bangkok Bank .

I wondered about using the Bangkok Bank mobile app , I'm going to have another go opening the Bangkok Bank mobile app and see what the procedure is to send money from my Bangkok Bank savings account to my UK HSBC bank savings account , from past experience dealing with any thing Bangkok Bank related , it may be a bumpy ride 😀

I'm still trying to find a simple way of sending small amounts of money ( 1,000 Baht ) to my UK HSBC bank account ( to keep it active ) I have just installed the Bangkok Bank app on my Android phone, and I can now log into my Thai Bangkok Bank savings account . Ive noticed that in the Bangkok Bank Android app , there's an option to send money abroad. Ive not yet tried that option ( just in case I get it wrong ) Now I'm Just wondering if any one here also has the Bangkok Bank app on their mobile phone and has used the '' send money abroad '' option from their mobile phone.
Also on the internet web page for Bangkok Bank , which I can log into , to see my Bangkok Bank savings account , there does not seen an option to send money abroad.

You could just replace the battery. Easily done.
Hi , I looked at the cost of a new battery and its around 2,000 Baht , and the Laptop is really old , so knowing my luck I would buy and install a new battery and the week after the mother board would pack up 😀

My old Dell laptop running Linux is about to take its last breath ( swollen battery ) so I’m looking for ideas to replace it . I don’t really want another laptop . So I’m wondering about a Mini PC or small tower PC sort of thing . It will only be used for web surfing / torrenting / photos / music .
I’m planning to install Linux Mint on the new computer and connect it to an external monitor .
Any ideas , suggestions or recommendations Please .

Just started to read that article and I saw this comment ....
My doctor recently told me to drink less, sleep more, eat healthy and exercise every day. So, starting today I'm making a big change in my life. I'm no longer going to that doctor.

Come on guy, 74's too young for the rocking chair. But I agree the climate makes exercise a challenge. Any swimming pools around where you live? I exercise early morning (walking and mountain bike riding), driving to a long stretch of back road with almost no dogs or traffic. I always carry a small flashlight. Wish you the best of luck achieving your fitness and health goals.
Thanks
