You can still move money, just 50K THB Per day hahaha Yo ucan keep using it for instant WIse, just as long as you are ok with gradually moving it to otehr banks/or taking it out.

Welcome to the club, they are gradually rolling it out, you can stil use the account to get money from overseas, but any spending via the Kplus app or bank cards will be limited to 50K THB per day or 20K THB withdrawal. So basically anyone using it to get funds in to Thailand, for larger amounts you need to transfer in person at the bank teller. For more info see this reddit:

Yup can confirm this is the exact banner that magically showed up on my home page one morning and ruin my day, despite already did all the face scan they ever asked for. Everything still works, just that spending in app is limited to 50k THB and can't be adjusted anymore!

Because I like to have the option if I want to need to, that's basically it. I've used this bank account for years without issue, and already did everything they asked. Yet still got this imposed. Another scnerio is say I transfered 100K over to this Kbank account, but need to pay for something that is 60K the same day? I can't cause I need 2 days to transfer 50K perday to a diffrent bank, the only option would be to go to branch and take out manully, but then again what if I am paying for a medical bill at night for some urgent care? It's all about having that option avalible if needed! Not feeling like you are always. operating at the edge!

I've heard that while KPlus has a 50,000 limit, you can get an additional 50,000 through the online KBank website. It seems like a loophole, so it's probably best to keep it quiet, and I'm not sure how long they'll allow it.

Ok I see now. So your Kplus, also has the 50K per day transfer limit (outbound) but you recently had international transfers come in to this account of a large amount, and there was no issue. Got it, well then at least this sounds assuring. Again I already did all that facescan and Kplus still imits my daily spanding to no more than 50k THB. As for making large transfers outside of Kplus, they said you can still visit a branch for that. I will continue using KPlus for international transfers but will gradually move the funds to my other Thai bank accounts.

Thanks for confirmation, but I don't think your Kplus has the 50K app limit imposed on you yet? trying to see if anyone who does have this imposed, but still made large transfer to the account without issue. Anyway, I don't think it will be an issue, just being cautionary. I've used my Kbank to get money for over 4 years, plus if I really wanted to I guess I can still go to the branch to initiate large trasfer, but with current limit I can gradully move the funds over to my other Thail banks for long term storing, my BBL has a 2 mil perday, same as SCB, TTB, KTB

Yes it is only logical, The thing is, the only reason I've even been using Kplus is because thier WISE transfers are instant, compared to BBL. While I personally have many other Thai banks with no such app limit (already face scan-simcard corrected those as well but no issue). I problably see my self only using Kplus for inbound transfers now, but not for storing, need to gradually move it to store in other banks where I feel more at ease.

Has you inbound also been impacted or did that still work fine for over 50k.
