Canadian man and Thai woman murdered in Khon Kaen
Khun Roberto replied to webfact's topic in Isaan News
"marked by stab injuries to her neck, head, and torso in proximity to the entrance." What part of the torso is in proximity to the entrance? -
Good idea. I've sent an email to [email protected] Is that the eamil you used? Maybe I'l get a response. I sure don't want to waste a chunk of a day going up to CW or pay THB2,000 fine for filing "late". ???? Cheers,

I've done it many times. Fill in the 90 day reg, with a stamped return envelope (registered), in a registered letter to Immigration at Lak Si. This time I can see online by the tracking number that they have recieved my envelope, but it's been a month and I have not recived the return letter,. If I try to track the registered number with Thai Post, it does not show anything. What should I do? I can't get he Online service to work. Should I just wait until my next 90 is due and file that like normal? Go all the way to Lak Si? Obvioulsy I want to be compliant wth the laws, and don't want to pay a fine. I have a "Retirement Visa". Any ideas? Thanks! ????

Mexico City is boring ?!?!?!?!? He didn't even leave his hotel room. The museums, the markets, the food, the dance, the Lucha Libre, the tequila and Mariachis, the parks, the architecture, the languages, the handicrafts, textiles, … shall I go on? Sure it’s polluted, but no worse than BKK. (Which is also a fantastic city, and similar in many ways to Mexico City.)

Russian tourist injured in Bangkok snatching incident
Khun Roberto replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
That this is even "news" shows what a safe city BKK is. Sure there's petty crime, lawlessness and corruption. But name me one city in the west where you can routinely leave your helmet sitting on your motorcycle and expect it to be there when you come back. -
Sure, there are examples above where it has held, but there are many examples of short cuts in construction around here. A small tremor could easily knock down many AC units, even on cement block walls. But you’re building the room, and know where the units will be placed, so maybe incorporate some steel support during construction? Even if it’s visible, it can be painted and plastered so it looks good when finished. And it will be much safer.

My Non O visa and passport expired on the same day, Aug 3rd. So I got a new passport on May 20th. My Embassy (Canada) returned my old passport (containing the Non O Visa) with a stamp in it indicating the new passport number. Do I need to get the visa transferred now and go again, after July 4th apply for a new extension? Or can I go on the 4th with the all the documents and apply for a new visa? That would be a lot easier and save pages in my passport.

Several factors make Thais vulnerable to Omicron variant infection

Of course that's effective! It will ensure people keep distant from you. It could be marketed as social distancing cream. -
Thailand road carnage continues: 12,000 dead this year so far
Khun Roberto replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
But most almost all of the people who die in motorcycle accidents are wearing masks. Helmets? Not so much.... -
We tend to complain a lot, especially about the Thai bureaucracy. When a job is well done we must point it out. The service I received at MedPark was first class. In and out in less than an hour including the 30 minute wait. Efficient staff, excellent building, AZ jab, even the waiting chair was comfy. A+ !!!
