From the article, seems more of an infrastructure problem... the economy of Pattaya and Phuket are based on tourism. Perhaps the government needs to promote other places eg Hua Hin, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Krabi, even places away from the ciast give tourist an incentive.

You seem to have a few issues, one of which is clearly comprehension of words written in the English language. The poster you replied to simply said “seems many of us on this site are outraged” and you replied by saying “Oh dear, you are NOT the wider thai community... geez”
If you had the ability to comprehend the English language, you would know that he made no claim whatsoever of being the wider thai (sic) community …. suggest you sort your issues out before commenting again.
555, seems you have the issue... Aseannow is not the wider community... theres 64 million of them...

What a bizarre, baiting comment; I was replying to your comment that said, and I quote: “So, where is the outrage, I think we know the reason” …. please point out where in my comment I claimed that my wife and I are the wider community ?
I also note that you have not expressed any outrage yourself, despite expecting everyone else to so do……
So, just where is your outrage, a few words on here, replying to my comment, doesn't look like outrage.

It has only just been reported, so I am sure there will be plenty of outrage, but maybe it’s time for you to indulge in some introspection.
RIP little angel
So, where is the outrage, I think we know the reason.

Is throwing water, without permission, a form of assault, before anyong jumps on me, I do live in Thsiland, I love Songkran, but I can see people who don't, it's not hard, if unsure, ask if it's ok.

"government-set safe threshold of 37.5µg/m³," has the Thai government set its own standard... when the recognised level is 35µg/m³, and anything above 12µg/m³, is unhealthy.

Conclusion: Some people in Thailand are corrupt, but not necessarily all. And some of the most corrupt may not be Thai.

Mate, you have your personal issues, using your logic, are you heading back home, to reduce the number of visitors, or do you classify yourself as special.
