    It was not "well" reported, the article that appeared in AseanNow, states, and this from his friend, he was on the back of a motorbike taxi, the driver later found to be drunk, no other information, so a lot of questions could be asked.

    It's Thailand, as you should be aware of, Thau adults, especially male, behave the same, there is an underlying problem with Thai culture.

    true, need around the clock supervision... needed a comfy bed... nice showers and toilets, gourmet food, entertainment, on call 24 hours... nothing found in a cell, in fact I doubt his DNA can even be found.

    Admittedly I did NOT read the article, as I have seen the headline so many times... basically they are saying that the checkpoints have NOT been following protocol, so what makes them, or us, or Thais, believe anything will change, is this just another photo op, that we see so often... followed by no actual change.

    I thiught Loei was more than 39ks from the birder, anyway, the patient should have been transferredto a Thai ambulance, as Laos drive on the right side of the road, this could lead to confusion.
