  1. and where's the market......there is no market in Thailand, or export, for most of what you mention, even fruit, there's already an abundant supply, the market is not limitless, in fact the opposite
  2. What you say about the US is correct... but different for the UK, and that is what this article is about... did you even read my comment, it's all there.
  3. thyen name some crops that would provide food and profit... you come up with a lot of words, but no real solutions.. do you even live in Thailand, because you come across as very ignorant, and naive.
  4. Although, in principle, I agree, I think you live in lala land, you need ideas that will actually be possible to achieve, in Thailand.... as Thailand is not China, and there is little incentive for farmers to stop the practice.
  5. They do seem to forget history. "In 7 January 1942, allied planes began bombing raids on the Thai capital city of Bangkok. With this added pressure, the Phibun government decided to declare war on the Allies. Later, Thailand declared war on the United Kingdom and the United States on 25 January 1942." "By July 1944, Phibun was forced to resign and his 1942 declaration of war was determined to be unconstitutional and therefore legally void. As a result, Thailand never needed to official surrendered to the allies."
  6. "Ties" that were actually broken, during WW2... but they conveniently choose to ignore those years
  7. Where in Hua Hin were you.... it seemed ok to me at Baan Khun Food Court
  8. And what would you suggest to help support these farmets after a food crop, and their only income is removed... I don't think you thought this through
  9. Oh and you conveniently forgot the thousands of mum and dad rice and sugar growers whe grow for sale and family consumption... your own agenda is showing
  10. An the cops should track her down for posting false information on the internet, which is illegal in Thailand. We know what would happen if a farang posted false information, but in xenophobic/racist Thailand, there seems to be different "interpretations" of all laws.
  11. Not quite the point I was trying to make... but yes, you are right, and yes, mine is in a pouch
  12. Did I reply to your comment, I don't think I did... but I think you mis- interpreted what I said. I know JetStar is owned by Qantus, I am an Aussie, I use JetStar.
  13. Depends on the country you're entering, and the amount of damage, some tourists have been denied entry into Bali simply because of a water stain... bit scary really, considering the worlds most expensive passport, yes Australia's, the cover, and pages curl up..
  14. I'm not 100% sure, but at a guess, loose clothing could get caught.
  15. How long before we, again, see cloud seeding, water spraying trucks, and if I remember correctly, portable air filters, only in Bangkok.... but what we never see is any attempt to stop the yearly pollution.
  16. Can't be true, tik tok creators often say how safe Thailand is, you can leave the keys in the bike, leave your helmet on the bike, go away, it's still there when you get back... this story indicates they talk out their respective butts.
  17. Wow, whatever you're vaping, you should stop.
  18. You're right, Thailand has enough already.
  19. after reading the headline, no need to read further, same bull<deleted> we get every year...
  20. hang on, in Australia, and I suspect many other countries, the water is ALWAYS on, and tested regularly.
  21. mate, you raise the issue of other countries, which is irrelevant to any of my comments, and irrelevant to the posted article... I find it hard for you to not understand... this is about Thailand. Anyway I cannot talk to a thick wall... have a nice 2025
  22. mate, you are wrong, I am not comparing with any other country... only Thailand, you can go off on your own crusade, but my comment is simply about the numbers in Thailand... now go away.
