  1. Every time i drive i see Thai men pissing on the side of the road so what's the problem, oh, it's a foreigner
  2. Thank god for my patio beer fridge 🍺🍺 cheers
  3. I have been retired in Thailand for 8 years and just returned from holiday in Laos today i leave Thailand 3 - 4 times per year on short holidays, would they expect me to pay "tourist" medical insurance every time i come back?
  4. I don't think it's got anything to do with backpackers. It's about being a decent human being. Have the Thais forgotten about Farang businesses in Thailand donating free meals to hungry Thais during covid and the many millions of baht which were raised by farangs in Thailand to help the needy?
  5. If they did that to my child i would give them something a bit more serious than a pierced lip. Imbeciles
  6. I have been in Thailand for 8 years and am registered to vote. In the 2019 election i received my ballot paper on the day of the election, too late to send back. When i contacted them to complain they said they are only allowed to send out the ballot papers 10 days before the election. Unless they change this rule you still can't vote.
  7. Could someone please post the link to 90 day online report. Never done it online before but i'd like to try it, thanks
  8. Well that's as clear as mud, otherwise there wouldn't be anything to discuss
  9. It's already happened, in April Barclays informed me i had till August 30th to take my balances to zero and close my accounts which i obviously did. A nice thank you from Barclays after 35 years of banking with them
  10. My wife worked from age 20 till she was made redundant in 2021 aged 51 due to covid. She was on a decent salary for 20 years and then an excellent salary for the next 11 years as branch manager for a Japanese company at Laem Chabang. She will receive her Thai state pension in 2 years time, a total of 4,000 baht per month for 31 years continuous work, pathetic
  11. I live on route 36 just outside Pattaya, 7 nights a week the motorbike racing starts at around 8pm and continues into the early hours. Route 36 is a major road, but the cops don't know it's happening????
