  1. No one is talking notice of this government now, it is totally overwemed, with the dismissal of the PM. They have screwed up everything, digital hand out tourism visas, tax, economy, and the last straw, the border dispute.
  2. If the idiots allowed shop sales, like the off-licences we had in GB they wouldn't need to regulate online.
  3. I did sent B2500. They sent a picture of a licence with my pic on, then they asked for another B4990, that would be returned along with the licence on 3 working days. Need less to say I didn't send the B4990. But it down to experience. Called the DLT department, they told that no way could a third party get me a GENUINE Thai Driver's license without the person coming to the office himself.
  4. What about the ones on line offering Thai car licence for B3500 within 3 days no test,no medical, no need to attend.
  5. A war monger. Thinks Thai land should fight Burma, too.
  6. Yes you can, Chiang 500m bottle B50, even less in Big C, Lotus, Makro
  7. Border dispute won't really escalate into all out conflict/war. Unless someone on either side wants it to. A certain Thai politician being one of them. A lot of profit in war if you know the right people..
  8. Of course you know all the details and have all the evidence to the crimes they say he committed. Why wouldn't any other government in the countries he stayed enforce the Thai warrants for his arrest? 80% of the Thai population voted for him and he helped those less fortunate, If not for his business dealings, True would still be a second-rate TV station, why was he opposed? because he wanted to implement the same as pita and the MFP and look what happened to him.
  9. Of course, you believe everything the military told you about him.
  10. Could be anyone of them. If it's the MFP, then it is a good move to change the constitution and get the general's out of power. If it's Prawit, then they are looking to blunder the treasury Ha!
  11. Don't forget double pricing on Medical care, even if you have medical insurance.
  12. He didn't run, he was told to leave and allowed to take his money with him.
  13. Nothing to about cooking or the food itself. It is about the size of the portion. To the Left is the advertised portion, the right is the actual portion that was received.
  14. Basically this is not the Thai. Usually Thais don't complain out loud, they just don't return.
  15. I Think this all comes down to false advertising. I think that was more to do with the amount of time the person spent posting negative comments on the review page. It went on for weeks.
  16. School out of hours activities are written into their contracts.
  17. It is all about article 112. in the MFP's manifesto. The king is worried and other parties won't support it. Yet it was in the manifesto long before the election and the Thai people still voted for it. If article 112 is removed the other would back MFP.
  18. HE may have lined his pockets while PM, but he also made the farmers and lower income workers better off, too. He built apartments that the lower paid could afford. He showed the farmers how make the rich profiters in Bangkok to pay more for their rice and other crops. His sister was set up with the rice scandal and the floods were due to the dams being opened without her knowledge ( some say the military was behind it) Both got more than 80% of the vote. same as MFP.
  19. A lot of people guarantor loans, for a price. Plus the people offering the loan get their hands greased as well.
  20. It is the greed of the Banks that hand out the loans. The banks should be made to take responsibility for their flippant attitude, the person offering the loan usually gets their hands greased, too.
  21. There will be a few guys expecting large brown envelopes to pass over their desk to sway a vote one way or another.
  22. NO, because i did a bank transfer from England in June and got 39.4 exchange rate. and last week on the 7th of July I got a pension payment at 44.4 exchange rate. Today.45.44 Thai Baht
  23. The house will accept another less The house Will accept another candidate, who is "less confrontational". in other words, they want someone they can buy.
  24. The pound has gained 6 points against the Baht.... 39 to the £ at the end of June. Now 45 to the £ as of this morning.
