  1. Finally you answered my Yes or No question (re: whether or not a 50 year jail sentence for using a government vehicle for private purposes is harsh and unreasonable)............. After several more posts of uttering gobbledigook desperately trying to justify the unjustifiable.
  2. Ok - so 50 years can be regarded as unreasonable and "way over the top", to put it mildly.
  3. A core principle of criminal justice - Let the punishment fit the crime. Question for you: Did the judges in this particular case follow the above principle? A simple yes or no will suffice. Thank you
  4. https://www.statista.com/chart/16516/israeli-palestinian-casualties-by-in-gaza-and-the-west-bank/ Indeed! 2008 to 2020 Palestinians killed / injured: 5'600 115'000 Israelis killed / injured 251 5'600
  5. His public sharing likely caused by the lack of police action to pursue the case and find the driver responsible for the mayhem. Only reinforces the "hit and run" behaviour as the best option to get away scot free.
  6. Since Hamas live amongst the 2.4 Million Palestimians in the Gaza strip, your request to 'exterminate Hamas' can only be realised in exterminating the whole population living in Gaza. You're ok with that scenario?
  7. Let the punishment fit the crime - a core principle of criminal justice. Nuff said
  8. So this treaty disallows American investment in the following business sectors: Communication, Transportation, Banking, Insurance, Legal, Investment, Land exploitation incl. Mining, domestic Trade in Agriculture. In addition, Land cannot be owned. Which basically leaves Manufacturing as the only business sector to operate in. Where there is ample competition from countries such as the ones already mentioned.
  9. ...... and a heart-warming welcome back to the old guard, the military stooges and bootleggers. After all they did a stellar job moving the country forward and keeping the peace and happiness amongst the people. What on earth have you been smoking?
  10. As of 30 August 2023, several European countries have temporarily suspended the issuance of visas to russian citizens. Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Türkise, UK. Sorry for nitpicking - but your "facts" are incomplete as well as out of date.
  11. To all those super tough, intelligent and wise punchy keyboard warriors aka Neanderthals stating .... He (clearly) deserved it (smack in the mouth) culminating in "they should have gone harder on him" .... please google the term "cerebral haemorrhage" caused by signifant blow(s) to the head. Since this is a life-threatening condition and the reason why he was rushed to hospital, one can only assume obnoxious verbally abusive behaviour justifies being beaten to an inch of of death. Seriously???
  12. Be very afraid. The tough guy aka Rambo in action. Just one question - what if the "Porker" happens to be a Thai?
  13. Incorrect - there is a big difference in legal terms between self-defence and retaliation. The bouncers actions without doubt were an act of retaliation. See below
  14. To the many posters which seem to lay the blame entirely onto the Tourists including pointing out that it is 'common knowledge' to never argue with Thais for all the known reasons and retaliation by the bouncers is absolutely justified since the older Brit slapped one across the face. Consider this: The ones at the receiving end of this mayhem were genuine T.OURISTS and possibly first timers to Thailand. It is certainly not common knowledge to them how to deal with fragile and unhinged Thai Egos. Furthermore, anybody condoning punches followed by kicks to the head by 2 or more cowards while already on the ground in response to a slap by a 60 year old as justified retaliation, has moved way beyond accepted social norms.
  15. 1961 Jaguar E-type convertible Porsche Macan turbo Not here - Australia Yamaha Tmax in Thailand
  16. Not at all - some are deplorables, most are plural denialists, others are misguided zealots .... but all are Trump devotees.
  17. Once again for starting the bleeding obvious - it is a satirical, acerbic, acid or caustic comment of the highest order. For every fair-minded individual in possession of his mental faculties - the one and only Real POTUS 45 is An abominal man, dishonest to the core, only concerned with himself, having at best scant regard to democratic principles and the Constitution.
  18. For the record it is sarcasm - I'm not yet braindead nor brainwashed to the eleventh degree.
  19. After going through 25 pages of comments about Trumps character traits in light of various indictments and his suitability to once again reside in the White House .... all those who regard the honourable Mr. Trump as an upstanding citizen, a honest man, an excellent or even the best economic Manager ever, only concerned with the wellbeing of fellow citizens, upholding America's democratic principles and the Constituition at all times - please vote in the Affirmative. All others, which can only be described as extreme left looneys, Marxists, Socialists, please Abstain from voting. Note: Mr. Trump unfairly lost the last election because a mere additional 11'779 votes could not be found in Georgia among other irregularities, and presently being relentlessly pursued by the FBI and DOJ - agencies weaponized by the real criminal (Biden). Thank you
  20. To speak politely, I describe your post above a load of horse manure. Next
  21. 6 days ago, Mr. Chuvit - the whistle-blower-in-chief, insisted that Thaksin would not return on August 10. His claim was roundly dismissed as "nonsense" by Thaksin's daughter. Judging from his past record, I tend to agree with Chuvit. He also predicted that no new Prime Minister will emerge on August 4 (today). It seems to me, this guy already knows how this sorry saga will play out in the end. Please somebody ask him who will be the new PM at some time in the future. It would put an end to endless speculation, anguish and the enormous waste of time.
