School boy error for such an important number.
So important that I have not needed an OTP for a transaction in 18 months, so not so much.
A trip to the bank is needed anyway when things return to "normal".

The phone now says "no service", and a top up to the number won't process. Looks like a good excuse for a visit when this sandbox business gets ironed out.

After keeping a number active for 5 or 6 years I have made a mistake and let it expire. I can blame it on COVID and lack of activity, but the truth is it slipped my mind and I forgot to top it up. Anyone know a trick to reactivate an expired AIS SIM to keep the number ? Unfortunately it is my bank OTP number. I also have an expired ATM card and new passport - if I can't restore the number I will get a new SIM on my next visit (if that ever happens) and have to go to the bank branch any way.

American farm workers? I was talking about migrant farm workers. No bomb shelters but long walks in the desert aren't exactly a garden party.
Then maybe they should stay home, or come through the gate and not come in through the desert.

Yeah.
The same reason American people don't want to be farm workers.
I don't ever recall seeing "access to a bomb shelter" as a requirement for suitable working conditions for American farm workers. Maybe there is another problem there...

Why would it not help ? this is exactly in line with what has been published for July 1 - proof of vaccination, 72 hours or less negative test.

"...continue to consume vast amounts of concrete, a fossil fuel dependent material,..."
How is concrete, comprised of stone, sand, lime and water, a fossil fuel dependent material ? There are no oil products in concrete.

It's not only Thailand that burns the sugar cane before harvesting, it happens in Florida too, see here>
This is common everywhere they grow sugar cane. Florida, Caribbean, Central America. Not saying it is the right way but it is how it is done, especially where the farmers are poor. It is not just this one Thai farmer. From what I have seen many Thai farmers live hand to mouth - what are they going to buy a cane harvester with ?
Driving in Florida worse than Thailand?

This is facebook meme circulating, but as a Florida native who has also lived in Thailand, I think it is hilarious. When I started driving in Thailand, my friends told me the four rules for Thai driving-
First one there wins,
There are two speeds on Thai roads - wide open and stop,
If it happens on the road in front of you it is your problem, if it happens behind you it is their problem - if someone swerves in front of you, deal with it, but if you cut off 4 lanes of traffic, its ok because that is for the car behind you to deal with,
If your car will physically fit in any space then it is ok for it to be there - that is why there are 6 lanes of traffic on a 3 lane road.
The fifth unwritten rule is that if there is an accident and you are not Thai, it is your fault.
I am now in houston, and after driving here i prefer driving in Thailand. Houstonians drive like either they are the only ones on the road or they are in second place on the last lap at Talladega.
