An agent will sort everything out without the need to put any money in the bank, and it's all perfectly legal.
Surely you must open a BKK bank account in your name first, this thread is about opening an account is it not?

Use an agent to open a bank account after you enter.
Can you recommend one and where do you find an agent. I was told by a friend yesterday as from April 1st an agent can no longer open an account for you. ???

I do miss a warm, flat, hoppy beer.......first thing I do when back in London.......a proper pub, no music, no TV, carpet sticks to your feet......can't beat it.
I miss it so mut but *Warm beer* is around 12c from the cellar and I love being able to drink a beer without the fizzy bloating gas.

You have a larger business not a beer business! Try making Beer, not <deleted> larger, maybe your sales will increase.

I had to deliver a very high factory cake mixing machine one time in the UK, all the rout was planned out, to avoid low bridges, all went well until, I drove through a small village, where they had put flag bunting out crisscrossing the High St. for some celebration or other, looking in my mirrors, their bunting was now flying atop the machine as I continued to drive. ????????

That's logical but this could well be a cover excuse for the real reason that I suggested in my earlier post and that they are expecting massive withdrawals when the baht bombs so hence need to limit times available. Now let's see what , or any restrictions are placed on ATM's if they really are concerned about covid spread given all that finger contact.
There are only a couple of banks still open on Koh Chang, but the ATMs remain topped up with cash.

A lot to do about nothing, if you read the full story IMO the Uni is being responsible about the covid situation, imagine if there was an outbreak at the Uni, then the Uni would be blamed for not taking preventative measures.
Give them broth without any bread,
whip them soundly
and send them to bed.

Always funny when a Thai lady tries English mustard for the first time. So different to chili for them.
Marmite is a good one too, just to watch their face.

Bleach simple as, you can put some diluted in a plant sprayer, use it to wipe down surfaces, or directly on ants, I also spray insecticide outside around the house.

I use talcum powder from the 20 baht shop, and "No" perfume does not seem to be important.
The powder can be sprinkled or puffed anywhere.I found that the *original prickly heat powder* was the best, bad enough if you get it in your eye, imagine being 2mm big and coming across that.

You mean this clapped-out vehicle actually had an air conditioner fitted to it? Last time I was in Bangkok all the busses appeared to have "air conditioning" provided in the form of all the windows wound down!!
The picture shows windows that don't open, and you can clearly see the A/C unit on the roof.
What's this valve called?

I have a spring non-return valve also fitted directly after the meter, doesn't seem to affect my water flow, I prefer them to a flap valve as I have experienced in past that sometimes flap valves (as I like to call them) do not close sufficiently if water pressure is low, relying only on a weight & pressure, if the town water is off, I don't want to supply the town with my tank reserve.
