    I agree Maxis tyres cheap n cheerful, tyres in Thailand are only recommended for 4 yrs anyway because of the UV, no matter how much tread is on them, I always use a tire silicon to protect them and keep the car parked in the shade at home. Just hope the snow stays away................

    He won't get a Choice I'm here on my Ozzy passport, I haven't been there for 20 yrs, but I'm also a British Citizen, they send you back to whatever county your visa/extension is in.

    Maybe I'm wrong but Thailand does seem to have a lot of strange and unexplained deaths more than any other country in the world. Seem strange that a Police Colonel would not have known what danger there was in using Caustic Soda in a confined space after spending so many years in the police force, and not even read the instructions.

    Gas tanks are left in full sun at the depots, on delivery trucks, and all over Thailand but I Do get your concerns. This is my set up, I have the thicker gas pipe and it runs under my kitchen floor inside the PVC pipe right up to the stove, to the other side, mind you that tank is looking worse for wear, rust not a good sign. had I been in at the time I would have refused it.
