  1. Should be the tourists worrying about getting infected. Tourists fully vaccinated you can't get any better than that, Thailand not even half the population vaccinated, who's at risk here.
  2. We're driving at least 270 kilos a week less and that's just the school run.
  3. It's like when the airport's closed, the very day they re opened they halved the land crossing visa from 30 to 15 days. It makes you wonder if they really want tourists to come.
  4. Do they not realise how unwelcome this makes the ordinary run of the mill tourist feel, come back if we can't get enough rich people. A good majority of the Khao San Road backpackers would probably be tomorrows professionals as well, looking to remember where they spent gap years in times to come.
  5. You'll not get real tourists coming if there's any sort of quarentine, how much better can you get than fully vaccinated. I'm sure they think people can come here at the drop of a hat, no need to arrange holidays from work as well as arrange extra insurance, COE certificate and suffer swabs stuck up your nose all for a "relaxing" holiday and then hope they haven't changed their minds when your ready to travel. People will go somewhere else where they don't have to jump through hoops to come and sit in an alcohol free restaurant till 10pm then go home.
  6. They only need one slogan. NO Coe NO Quarentine hotels NO tests.
  7. Try Kasikorn if it's for your visa money you can download a years statements from the app, Bangkok Bank you can't do this. If you do go Bangkok Bank make sure you get a Visa ATM card and not a Union Pay one, nightmare if you want to buy anything online.
  8. My seven year old daughter goes to a private Thai school and the online learning is pitiful. After ten minutes of a thirty minute lesson they're ready to start then it's read a few words and colour in the pictures. That happens in almost every lesson, the only thing good about online learning is it keeps her in touch with the teachers and her friends. The best thing is we get a twenty percent discount for three half hour lessons five days a week, my daughters been to school eight days this term, I think that should justify a lot more than twenty percent.
  9. Thanks Jack I've sent email off to enquire.
  10. Hi Sheryl, I was using Crestor which were quite expensive and found Sandoz was only 1,000 baht per 28. But now I'm not in Bangkok very hard to find, I would be open to any suggestion for a replacement you may have.
  11. I'm trying to find somewhere on line for Sandoz Rosuvastatin 20 mg. I live in Nang Rong Buriram and can't find anywhere that sells them. I did manage to get a supply from Medtide.com but they are not replenishing their stock as they say the price is so high now. Any ideas of where I could buy would be truly appreciated.
  12. If the government can't control the floods in the centre of the capitol how your average Thai going to do any better and of course everyone has a generator or have the money to even consider buying one.
  13. 40 minutes down the road in Nang Rong.
  14. And yet they're charging tourists 1,500 baht for a twelve hour bus ride to the airport before they board their twelve hour flight back home. You'd think they'd supply that free or at a reasonable rate. Weren't they considering giving tourists free domestic flights at one time.
  15. Just received an email this morning to add my passport and visa which I have just done, attached ok and been accepted again.
