Aye, but it's pretty obvious you ain't gonna get all those people hailing your desired outcome! It's like an aircraft captain flying to his clear destination, for which he sensibly has an alternative landing always planned; along the way, destination weather looks very unsettled, stormy, perhaps at very limits of his and/or aircraft's limits; he makes an assessment, choosing not to risk attempting the landing, and therefore decides to return to base, or fly to the safer alternate for the sake of ALL on board!

The plus sign '+' character is designed to indicate that the international dialling number must be inserted, followed by country number and then the individual telephone number less the first '0'. On a smart phone, using the '+' will obviate the need to insert those pesky little numbers yourself (as different countries / operators may do different numbers than the standard '00'), as you travel the world. There were no written rules for departing the EU; we're all making it up as we go along! Fair enough, the 27 demand the 4 principles - but that imposes the hard border if there's no deal.

To treat UK as some sort of villain here seems harsh, they are unlikely to abandon all standards adopted over the last 40 years. You may of course wish to deter others from leaving, but it hardly opens the door for UK to want to change its mind later, which is what a club would normally suggest, so as to keep its coffers full.

The quote of the bar bill analogy - usual club custom is to insist members pay for drinks consumed, not those in the barrel or in the delivery van.

So to break the impasse, perhaps the logical geographical (sorry Scotland) Irish unification, with the EU funding the resettlement in GB of all those wishing to leave (DUP and the like). Then back to island mentality, each with internationally accepted coastal fishery protections. WTO tarrifs unless a better deal can be negotiated, to save dragging all this out for another 2 years .....

And before you demand recognition of all those lives lost in the past, remember those from years gone by - recent Boer wars, Middle East wars - always in the end you must move on, not hark to the past - sure learn from the past, but move on.

I have a UK (main) and US transferwise accounts for holding / transfering gbp or usd ..... anything sent to the US account needs to titled "TransferWise FBO (my account name)" or it will be lost if solely my account name? That advice came on android app I use.

And a simple wiki search shows they have had a team since 1927!! Maybe Goebbels had no balls at all, but I am sure their team will be able to sing a few ditties about UK's balls-up of Brexit .... expect incoming!

Kerikey, we are so full of ourselves pontificating behind keyboards. This was a silly mistake by a teenager unaware of the significance, not as bad perhaps as Prince Harry who wore the symbol and who, as a member of the establishment and later an officer in the Army, should have known better.

Teach kids to respect one another, live harmoniously .... leave the history learning to those who want to be politicians and leaders .... it is they who motivate peoples into committing such crimes associated with symbols.
