Not correct in my case. Had a month in Dubai returning to my registered address on 14th May, so my 90 days was due on 11th August. Did it online yesterday and got the receipt within one hour. However it says next report is due on 30th October, 90 days from yesterday. Next time I shall wait until closer to the required date as I have 'lost' 10 days, as if it makes any difference.

Totally agree. All this silly registration to vote, just show your ID card, as they do here and in most other countries. I remember when your birthdate was put on your Driving Licence in UK, although 'disguised'. and old ladies said No no no , the police will know how old I am. In, for example, Sweden, everyone is issued an ID number, consisting of their date of birth, and whatever number child you were born on that date, odd numbers for males, even for female. That is your Passport number, Driving Licence number and whatever else. What a great system.

Just to let you know that the cost of transferring Bht 35000 to my Bkk Bank has gone up this month by Bht 13.06, to Bht 44.76. Instigated at 5am this morning, arrived as International Transfer at 14.05. Luckily, no cleverly, I had converted my GBPs into THBs in mid July when it was 47 to the pound. I am not complaining.

You only have to pay Thai tax on what you send here. There have been MANY articles on this, but basically, you get firstly a tax free allowance, then some for being over 65, then some for your Mrs if married, then 0% on the next 150k, 5% 0n next 100k.
