Thanks for info re: appointment.     Care to divulge what province you reside in?  I am thinking that your rapid appointment response could be a function of where you live (where you registered from)

I also am in the same boat as you. Seems as though because I got an ITIN for my wife, I am not eligible.

How this makes any sense is a mystery to me. 

I pay my taxes every year. Uncle Sam has no problem taking my money even If my wife has an ITIN. Go figure.  BTW, mods... where re my emogis?

I am not in any way trying to be a smart ass. Smart no, ass maybe. I was having a very similar problem. Not being smart when it comes to electric in my home, I finally just asked my local sparky to replace the safety cut, and even though the old one had been serviceable for 8 years, he replaced it and problem was solved.

You are mostly correct however, I think  It was Deblasio that banned Big Gulps and tried to put more tax on sugary drinks. Also they stopped allowing any transfats to be used in restaurants. French fries will never be the same. It's also now illegal to sit on park benches in NYC

Very possibly so, however, they have not yet received my 2019 return so they cannot know that it even exists.  My tracking shows that the return is still in transit. In that case I would have thought they would be working off my 2018 return. 

BTW  Mr. Pib  can you see any emojis connected to my posts? Curious because they don't show up for me on my posts?

I fall into the category so all can do is watt for show up in my bank accout.. But from what I have read before they appear to be doing the ones that filed a tax return first.

I did file in 2018  (with DD instructions for my BKK bank via the old ACH system) and again for 2019. I am sure my 2019 with updated DD banking instructions has not arrived yet. I mailed it and it was stuck at Swappy for awhile. I did track it and looks like its still in transit according to the USPS. Also my 2018 returns included other income in addition to SS earnings. I have been receiving my regular SS earnings to my BKK bank here in Thailand.

Yeah Freddie    I got the same message.  I did see somewhere that SS recipients are not yet processed.
